I suggest acting quickly. With the looming economic problems and massive inflation I think we're about to see a bunch of problems in RV, boat, and Trailer Land with people that put down deposits in 2020 money but the small under-capitalized shops are now building (and living) with 2022 prices...
I have no personal experience with them, but looking quickly at the options and having had a couple of trailers including my current Turtleback with independent Icon suspension, I will never go back to straight axle trailers for off-road applications. The difference is so dramatic when you have...
Are you in the USA? If so, the registration paperwork should say the brand name. Or there should at least be a VIN sticker on it in several locations that may have the brand name. Or if it is home built, it would likely say that on the registration.
I just added two more pairs of the Alaska Hardgear Stone Run pant when they went on sale recently. Three overland trips on them so far and for a non-tactical, non-cargo pant I really like them. They are a smooth tight weave cotton+spandex blend. Normally I stay away from cotton but these have a...
Turtleback Trailers. They have a custom swing-out arm that mounts on the trailer to attach a shower. It can be seen in the second to last photo

You're photos inspired me. I just ordered the brackets from TBT and a shower from DFG Off-road... Spending $600 to shower sure feels silly when I have a $25 pop-up, but sometimes you just have to say "******-it, you only live once..." :)
Another vote for the green elephant poles. I think I paid about $50 for each pair. I like the tips designed to go through the grommets in those cheap blue tarps but you can also use the rubber ball tip to support the center of a tarp without a grommet. Easy to adjust and seem pretty sturdy...
I wish more people could think this way. I’m a very pro-law enforcement person (lots of family members current or former LEOs) but I’m shocked at how frequently I hear about (and have personally experienced) rangers, border patrol, regular patrol officers, etc. that do not understand the laws...
That’s how it rides now. Horizontal. And it works well because I can wedge the jack between the mount point and the small square “lift point” that I want to utilize as a jack position

Adding a small silicon plug to allow for pressure equalization probably would not be too hard. Maybe they will sell that as a $20 add-on to these new boxes to keep up the tradition of making us pay for their design flaws. :)

Wow, that is quite a setup. I'm curious how much it weighs and what engine you're running in the JL. I know with my light little Turtleback Getaway (<2,000 lbs fully loaded up) it struggles a bit on grades (I have to pick my gears and build RPMs before hitting the grade).
I know what you are referring to as "operating them correctly" but lets be honest, a storage box should not have latches that must be "operated correctly" for them not to break. I don't need another thing to try to "train" my wife to do properly while we are setting up or breaking down camp...
As a follow up to DesertEagle's post, I'll chime in and add a few comments after several weekends of playing with the unit:
1. Garmin's user interface and general approach to usability is some of the worst I have seen in my entire life. I am a 30 year veteran of the software business, having...
I use the originals in the back of my jeep, and they fit nearly perfectly alongside my fridge slide (the only boxes I could find that fit without wasting space). The problems with them (other than cost) is that (1) they are not sealed, so ants tend to get up in there if there is food) and (2)...
