She’s a beauty - very nicely set up and turnkey!
FWIW the Cook Partner stoves are aluminum with a stainless steel grate. At least mine is. :)

Just keep in mind that any openings (and fans) are going to allow dust to accumulate. I don’t know about your typical terrain but “out west” that would be a non-starter for me. The dust gets into everything if the trailer is not air-tight.

I'm trying to source a trailer jack like this one:
But instead of a pipe mount, I want a mount for a 1-1/2" receiver tongue. Other than fabbing something myself with a welder, has anyone seen something like this?
damned good question and one that does concern me. I bought one and it works well and packs down nice and small. But I will admit to having reservations about chemicals.
I used to also bring a jetboil for the coffee in the morning but decided that just seemed a bit excessive when I have a galley...
Referring to this type:
I find that boiling water for coffee in the previous night's "red beans and rice with andouille sausage" pan doesn't always result in the best tasting coffee, so I'm pondering a dedicated kettle. But I don't want a single purpose device taking up quite so much space...
Welcome to the Herd! Head on over to the Facebook Group and join, then introduce yourself. Tons of folks there with a lot of answers to help you get familiarized with your new Getaway. (I have a '19 with all the options)
Join the Turtleback trailers Facebook page. There are quite a few used units for sale though the least I’ve ever seen for one was $17k for a 2017 (that is available now afaik). Another option is to join any of the following groups on FB:

Here's an easy and quick acid test: Do you camp in areas where it rains frequently? If so, I would rule out a soft roof top tent based solution in favor of a "square drop" or "teardrop" style. RTTs are a drag to stow when they are wet because you have to take out all the bedding (and...
Beautiful. Love the LifePO battery setup. How on earth did you route those cables to the engine? Did you use an isolator or an ACR?

For a pretty good HT with a full five watts of power, check out the Radioddity (weird name, I know) GM-30 unit. Its a $40 HT, and comes out of the box ready to use with all GMRS and FRS channels. Its made by the same manufacturer as Baofeng, and they claim to have an FCC registration 2AJGM-GM30...
I just got a Magellan TR7 (Magellan's cheaper alternative to the Garmin Overlander) and it comes with a windshield suction-cup mount. Given that windshield space in a Jeep is precious, and not at a good angle for such a mount, I'd like to put it on my Vector e-dock using the 1" ram balls...
That is a FANTASTIC idea! Brilliant - using marine deck hatches. Bomar? Only downside is that they are $$$. I may have to re-do the front of my setup with marine hatches - I love the way that turned out.
I would echo that sentiment regarding climate/weather conditions. I’m in So Cal and for me the Turtleback with RTT is perfect.
Unfolding/folding the tent is not much work and I love the modularity of being able to hang an annex for lots of “stand-up” room. I also like that my storage area is...
Heat of summer I usually switch out the Carhartts for the lighter weight Kuhl’s (that pucker really badly) or the Wrangler “flex” pants.

This is a great thread. There are apparently a lot of us thinking this same thing! I switched from Jeans to Carhartts and Kuhls about 6 or 7 years ago. I literally have probably 10 pairs of Kuhl pants hanging in my closet all in the same color and it drives my wife crazy. I have to say...
