    The Cactus Red mod thread.

Looking great! I may have to do the add on to the air bags shortly. You are running a lot less pressures than I am, mine are around 80 psi on the road, 50 psi on other roads...

    Alaskan Camper Build Up

Looks great, I guess great minds think alike! Next project after I get back from camping is to put the fender flares extensions on. We're headed to WA and OR in Sept and would probably find a use for them on the rainy coast. Material is here, just need to cut it to size and pop rivet it on...

    Does anyone insulate their windows?

I've been using the Reflectix in my windows for years, I even went as far as to bind the edges with a cloth edging so they last longer.

    Simple, self-contained, pressurized water system

I use a Ball Lock 5 gallon Pepsi keg to do the same thing. I'm a home brewer and have dozens of them. Pressurize off the compressors and attach a garden nozzle. In a pinch, I can fill my camper water tank from it as well.

Good question, and I'm not completely sure they are, though they are available as an option but not on a chassis cab. On the other hand, neither were the extra high watt Piaa's I ran for years in my last truck, or the high wattage driving lights. Don't blind other people, keep them turned down...

    Alaskan Camper Build Up

I was tired of my Ram mounts constantly falling off on rough roads and hot/cold days and fixed the problem permanently. I took the console apart, pretty easy to figure out with some gentle tugging in the right places and some screws removed. I then installed the Ram diamond bases with ball...

    Alaskan Camper Build Up

After deciding my oem headlights pretty much sucked, i went to work on them. I first figured out how to get to the headlights on this truck, a trick in itself. I put a set up 65 watt Super White Sylvania's in the high beam spot and a set of Kensun 35 watt HID conversions into the low beam...

    Alaskan Camper Build Up

Hi Bob, Hopefully this set will last a little longer otherwise we'll probably have to put a lift on this truck and run Michelin XL's or ZXL's in the 41" size that will fit on this rim. I not even sure how I would do that at this point. Table parts I bought: Patrick Metals 164922 30"...

    Enclosed utility bed custom

I did the bypass kit on mine and never had an issue after that. Invest in hard wired gauges, I ran seven Autometer gauges and ended up being money well spent.
