I cant wait to see the Jeep purists heads' explode when the see that Mopar is already offering a "lowering" kit. Yep you read that right. i will just leave this here....
This would make me very happy. I can only dream of a Jeep variant of the Subaru Outback or a modern day Wagoneer (think stationwagon with ground clearance) with a 6spd and diesel option. I really like the crosstrek.
Here is even more info and pics:

AWD diesel option? This would be the perfect mtn car. If they can price it right, this should sell like hotcakes.
Looking for someone that wants to sell their rear bumper tire carrier setup in the Denver area. I found one on CL today but it was sold.
Must be for a TJ / LJ no JKs.
Send me a PM with pics, local pick up. Thanks.
I also have a f350 crew 7.3l that we sleep in and camp out of. I just recently bought a 05 Jeep Wrangler LJR. I need to get a car trailer so I can still sleep in our mobile hotel and ride around in the jeep for fun. There is a meet up in Denver on 02/25, check the four corners page for more details.

I am starting to gather information for my next large purchase on my LJR.
I wanted to get some opinions on the different rear bumpers with tire carriers. I have narrowed my choices down to the following items and wanted more feedback on quality, weight, design, etc.
Money is not necessarily...
I often dream of Jeep making a 4 door diesel wrangler, but since they haven't I purchased a gently used LJR. Sleeping in the vehicle would be nice on longer expeditions, but I could pull a small offroad tear drop or low profile cargo trailer to meet that demand.
I really like the J30 by ursa...
I saw a booth selling portable solar products at DIA. I went home to look up the company and they are here in Thornton CO only about 2 miles away from my house. If anyone has any info or experience with their products please let me know. I would love to support a really local business...
I agree with you reece. If the new Earl GPS lives up to the hype, I would rather have that or a Garmin MT that I can take geo-caching or on my motorcycle.
