Finally sat down and wrapped up the video for the summer trip through the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Grand Staircase. There's so much amazing video that I decided to do things a bit different for the first one. Mostly drone footage. Hope you guys enjoy. Oh, and make sure to watch in HD!!
Went out for a fun weekend trip with some friends. Less off-roading than usual which was nice. Did some shooting and exploring. Found a sweet campsite with an amazing overlook of the valley below. This is up in northern Nevada around Fallon.

No, I do remember looking at the road when I pulled off to get the pic and thought "that looks fun...wonder where it goes". I'll be heading back there in the coming months. Good route to add to the list?
Thank you sir!
thanks! Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll hand it off to you!
It's got a basic Procomp 6" kit on it. Upgraded to Icon 2.5" shocks and really changed the performance of the kit. I haven't really put it through the paces offroad yet but I ran one of their kits on my 05 F150 and beat the crap...
Great update and very cool to see you stick with a rig for so long. Question for you, what mounts did you use to mount your rack? I have a 2012 yukon and it pretty much as the same factory rails so I'd love to mount a defender rack the same way you did. Really like how low profile it is.
Got a chance to break in the new setup last weekend. Our plan was to head down Thursday after work to Sunset Beach just south of Santa Cruz and camp for the night. Friday we'd swing by the Monterey Bay Aquarium for the little guy, and then head to Prewitt Ridge for some remote camping. We were...
Lol, I guess I should. Just updated the first post.
We'll see, Trying to not to go crazy with it but we all know how that goes. I wouldn't mind swapping out the rear leafs for some progressive springs from Atlas or Deaver.
Don't blame you as they are not that common. GM made the 2500's...
Figured I should start a build for the Yukon I picked up earlier this year as a second truck. I also have a ford Raptor (build thread here). With plans to cage the Raptor in the near future, I wanted to find another vehicle capable of taking over towing duties, and with enough room for the...
Thanks fellas!
Great thing about the Raptor is I can pack a ton of crap in it lol. But I try to keep it as light as possible. I usually use this cot tent. It works great and keeps me off the ground. This model folds up in a way so I can store it on the side of my bed. A lot of the other models...
Spent a few days up in the Black Rock Desert and Bodie over the weekend. Bodie was really cool and I recommend everyone add it to their list. The only thing I didn't like is it's definitely filled with tourists but it makes up for it with all the amazing buildings.
Update on parts: Everything...
Thought I'd give an update on the tires. They continue to perform really well. We had a lot of mud on our last run through Arizona and Utah. The tires kept us moving. I was able to self recover after being stuck twice.
Still no flats between my truck and Gordon's which is huge based on how...
haha must have been your imagination. Thanks and you definitely should. It almost seduces you...you don't want to leave.
Yes it is! It did great and outperforms the Raptors in most situations. The lack of 2wd made a couple sections tough but all in it did well.
