Good question? I have only had it in light rain so far: by design most of the water will not collect in the clamshell, if there is water I would close it slowly to allow the water to drain out of the corners before I latch it and before the point where it would enter the trailer.
Still enjoying the trailer, no other changes to report- hard to believe it's been a year already since I finished it! Just got back from another great NW overland rally with it.
Thanks, Its a TF 2.5 spring lift on top of 3/4" spacers. Tires are 37" Mickey Thompson MTZ. Has been a great set up so far but I plan on upgrading to a more progressive spring, and new shocks soon. At three years on the TF setup I think I have gotten my money's worth out of em.
I don't know how anyone has parts sitting in the garage waiting to be installed: when I get parts, they barely make it off the truck before I start the install. I guess I'm just OCD :)
No. I've had mine for about a year, made out of aluminum, not Chinese steel. It was actually the prototype for the production version that another company sells now. Aluminum storage boxes made In the us. Hard to patent a box I guess :)
