I thought about going from the edge of the bunk to the frame and I think it would work ok as long as the trailer is stable. I was initially just going to extend the factory supports but they just seem to flimsy for me. I actually thought about making fold down jack screws using thread stock and...

Little more work done this week; Got the top rails fabbed up, all four corners are now bolted on and made a cross bar for the front.

Couple more things done, removable support legs for the top; threaded not welded on. These will serve as additional protection for the corners, and tie in to the top rail of the trailer body to stiffen it up.

Great guys, built me the suspension for my trailer. If I ever decide to go the RTT way they have my business.

Wasn't planning on buying any of this stuff, all of it was kept in the hangar where my office is and I always use them. But they told me last week it was all going away and I could have the lot for 300.00, kind of hard to pass that deal up!

Been a while since my last update; Damn work keeps getting in the way of progress:mad: Got the side rails and outer fender structure done and a start on the support for the top. Still need to pick up bags and shocks. Slow progress; I know!

Thanks guys i really like how this thing is looking so far: not having the urge to scrap it and start over yet :) not much else to report other than I cleaned out all the old wiring and plumbing over the weekend, got some more of the body work done and drilled the frame for nutserts. Need bags...
