Man; that one is rough! but i've seen some decent Apache's pop up recently for fair prices. At least start with one that has the tent. That's the expensive part!

Expo junkie: Thanks and I hope to see your project soon, as far as things I would change, not yet. I think I am building this at a pace that allows me to make changes to my design before I get to it.
Couple more things done, removable support legs for the top; threaded not welded on. These will serve as additional protection for the corners, and tie in to the top rail of the trailer body to stiffen it up.
Wasn't planning on buying any of this stuff, all of it was kept in the hangar where my office is and I always use them. But they told me last week it was all going away and I could have the lot for 300.00, kind of hard to pass that deal up!
Yup; fenders will be flat!
I also scored some new toys for the garage that will help me form the fenders; now to find a way to get these heavy f/ers home:eek:
Been a while since my last update; Damn work keeps getting in the way of progress:mad:
Got the side rails and outer fender structure done and a start on the support for the top. Still need to pick up bags and shocks.

Thanks guys i really like how this thing is looking so far: not having the urge to scrap it and start over yet :) not much else to report other than I cleaned out all the old wiring and plumbing over the weekend, got some more of the body work done and drilled the frame for nutserts. Need bags...
