Frame brackets for the trailing arms.
Mockup of suspension; I hope to have this thing to roller status by this weekend, getting the tires mounted today.
Thanks; The arms turned out real nice, I was looking at CVT's trailers they sell, and the independant suspension at an expo earlier this year, originally I was going to have him build me an entire rolling frame but changed my direction when I found the Apache. The arms were a little steep at...
Thanks for the welcome Fred!X2 on the camping I was hoping to get it finished and some camping in this summer but I looks like we are running out of summer fast. Fred how much did those guys charge you to paint your trailer?
I picked up the trailer suspension over the weekend and cant wait to get it intalled. Unfortunately i'm gonna have to wait until I get some wheel spacers to install the frame brackets. The hub's are just a pinch too large to fit the wheels I picked up and I want to make sure I get the width and...

Finally found a little more time this week to get some work done on the trailer. I ended up dropping the X portion off to get media blasted; I just wasnt happy with the results of the wire wheel. Measured and cut out the wheel wells, started stripping on the trailer and got a large portion of...
Well, I would have more to update but I had to go to Van Nuys for what I thought was a few days; turns out I've been stuck here since last sunday and will probably be here through next wednesday.
Good news is that my trailing arms are ready and are at the powder coater as I speak; taking a...
New member here and figured I would post up my trailer build. Building it to make extended camping trips more comfortable, IE: more gear and getting off the ground.
The trailer is a 66 Apache Raven I picked up a couple weeks ago from a seller on Craigslist.
The day we picked it up
The...
