I'll say that after driving both, dollar for dollar, the F150 is going to be quite a bit nicer inside (at least to me), to get a 250 with the same look at feel it's quite a bit more than the lower baseline trim packages offered, I'd guess you'd need to step up to the Lariat....

Agree with this, lockers and ice / snow can be a really bad recipe. On a sloping road, locked rear can step out quite easily unless you are familiar with how they work....I've never driven a front locked rig on the snow, but I'd imagine the same lack of stability...

Your right, I screwed up earlier, you can but not the XLT with the HDPP since it drops the 302a package unfortunately.

Good question, I lost patients trying to figure it all out. I think it's just the 8", according to the online build sheet the 302A I couldn't add (see below) is 8", but so is the 301A that I had to include: *Edit - it looks like you need at least a Lariat to get the 12"...

Yup - age old dilemma. I'd say, if I had the room and didn't live near a city, I think the F150 is probably worth having if you 'think' you may need it, my 2c!
