Agreed. I'm putting this same Truma Varioheat in my boys camper as well. I'm super impressed with it.
From what I can see it's literally single digit watts when running, and I'd bet alot of that is function of the control screen itself.
It's a 20lb vertical. And I have another 20lb vertical on the rear as a spare. We kept ours on 68 in night mode.
When we first kicked it on we had it in standard mode set at 70 till we went to sleep. Just to get the inside up to a comfortable temp.
We had our first use of the truck camper and my boys trailer together as a family on a short 5 day outing in Arkansas. Everything functions so well, we couldn't be happier TBH. Hallmark made us an amazing camper. Truma heater SIPS the propane fuel (35F lows at night), and we used the water...
Just got back from our little 5 day trip in Arkansas, and everything went VERY well. All the systems work well, the camper held heat just fine. Was 35 at night, and my boys kept it easily at 72. I love our side kitchen, the amount of storage we have in the trailer. The electrical system although...
Looks fantastic!

Awesome adventures! 👌
Love the backstory and all the detail in your adventures. Glad I found this thread.

Thank you!

Today I've pulled the trailer out, getting everything ready for our trip. Will be a nice shake down run before pulling the exterior stuff again for paint. It's getting close. She will look so good in all white.
Thank you! I'm in the planning stages for it, but I'll build a shelf in the battery and storage side of the trailer up high so its out of the way, I'll also add a small hose to route a TINY portion of the heat being ducted inside the sleeping area into the storage area to help keep the battery...
Interior is pretty much done for now, minus A/C install when we get back from our next trip. But it will be plenty cool this trip. Also added some graphics to the door panels after pulling them to reseal to break up the monotony of the interior work. The rear door seals work super well, and the...
