I'm so hard on boots, I've never taken the plunge for Russell. However, a good friend has been wearing his Russell Moc's since he was in High School, and he's in his 30's now. They take a licking and just keep on ticking. I don't think you can go wrong...
Yeah, that's what I figured would be the most probable outcome. Unfortunately, the aerodynamics are such that there is a loud howling with it off the rack that I can't live with. I'll just live with the eventual pitting I suppose....
I've tried PlastX and such... things I use on motorcycle windscreens, but my current fairing is beyond repair. Just wondering if there's anyway to keep the new fairing from getting so damaged....
I care less about manual transmission, but love my four real doors. Especially with a family of 4 (+ 2 dogs who ride in crates in the bed) I'll take all the space I can get. Which is why, as much as I LOVE the Raptor, I'll be sticking with my FX4 SuperCrew for the time being.
WHAT???? That's unfortunate. I just checked Danner's website. Looks like certain boots - and the only ones I would ever buy are still made in USA... including the mountain light II.
Whew!
Depends on what you mean by "do the baja." Is the Raptor a good vehicle for traveling through Baja? Absolutely. That's what it was designed for. Is it a good vehicle to race The Baja on? I'd say it would be a pretty good base for a build, but certainly not something you'd do straight out of...

I've owned several pairs. Some people keep them a lifetime, but I'm really destructive to boots. These have never failed me... I just replace when the soles are gone/leather is really beat up.
A little bit more expensive at $230, but...
I just bought a new yakima roof rack for my truck, and bought the fairing that clips to the front bar with it. I have a similar yakima fairing on the rack on my wife's SUV, and it is really battered and filthy looking. It has been for a long time. I bought it new, but never did anything other...
Google "cpap battery camping" and you will find a plethora of info. The website for the company of my machine also has info on what to do. Yours may as well, so it's worth checking out. Battery backup systems are fairly common.
I have the same condition, and have not been camping with my...
Well this is the car I've dreamt of owning since I was something like 8 years old. An orange 911 - favorite car + favorite color, and of course in GT3 form, it's all the better. Nice.
:smiley_drive:
I like the idea of hiding the base inside the console. I've just stuck the base for mine in between the console and passenger seat. Haven't had any problems with it there... it stays put and doesn't interfere with movement of the seat, but your is cleaner.
I'm using a 4' Firestick type of...
