@K9LTW
So does your trailer have the new RedArc system? Could you share some pictures of that? The control panel and the electrical box if you don't mind.
We've had our trailer for about 9 months now and every trip the BMPro system is a disappointment. Would like to change that out if the...
very cool set up @skyhogg!!
I've had good luck with my Oneup rack on the G12 but if I needed to haul more than two bikes the Alta Rack looks like a good option.
Oh man I have been trying to ignore these for a while. Read some good reviews and overall I think it would work out great for us, but man that entry fee is steep. Couple quick questions for you:
Propane usage: review says it uses a lot of fuel, how much fuel do you think you went through? How...
Spring is here, time to get this trailer out on the trails, price updated.
Willing to work with buyer on delivery if needed.
Let me know if there are any other pictures you'd like to see.
Finally got around to moving the BT receiver. Arkto sent out an email describing the issue and fix with a video link. The hardware came shortly after that and in typical Arkto style, everything was well documented and easy to follow.
Of course I deviated a bit from the instructions to better...
Out of the van game and have some leftovers to sell.
$125 Goal Zero Boulder 100 solar panel. This worked great with our GZ, and comes with a 15ft extension cable and carrying case.
$150 Pentair Shur-Flo Accumulator Tank, Pentair Shurflo Water Pump, KUS Display and water level sensor all...
I was pretty set on getting a F150, but was worried about payload with two dirt bikes and the trailer tongue weight.
I wish I could have made a Ranger work but the bed is a bit short for our extra curricular activities. Does the Ranger have different motor options like the F150?
@jaywo
sorry if I missed it but why no interest in a trailer?
Also wanted to add that we lifted our 2WD Transit and regretted it. We got some clearance for bigger tires but it drove terrible. I would not want another lifted Transit.
One more thing to add, if you are looking for more...
We couldn't find a convenient place for a paper towel roll. Usually just tucked it in the cabinet and pulled it out as needed.
Realized that I never use the handle on the fridge, just pull out that slide by the tray. So I removed the handle and match drilled a paper towel holder. Worked out...
Snapped some pictures of the light. I wasn't sure where I wanted to mount the light so I made the harness kinda long. I have a couple other lighting projects so I will trim that up and work on some better routing.
It’s a 22 F350, with the gas 7.3L motor and 10 speed transmission. Way overkill for the Arkto. I can only tell it’s there when seeing it in the mirror.
Got the camper out for one last 2023 trip last week, took some backcountry roads and enjoyed some cold nights with friends. Both of our pups just got out of bird dog school so we poked around looking for quail without much luck.
22 nights in the camper since picking it up in October.
Cool truck.
I also added some upgraded fog lights (Diode Dynamics SS3s) but I wired them to the high beam trigger. There is a pre-made harness you buy or just go right into the stock harness. Unfortunately my truck doesn't have upfitter switches so I just wired directly to the high beam...
Sad to say it's time to winterize my trailer.
I was hoping to get a few more trips in but that's not going to happen.
This is my first time winterizing a trailer but the Arkto video makes it seem pretty easy.
