Finally got the last piece of this puzzle done....
Finished up my install of the solar panels and wiring by dropping in this big bad boy... XS Power 27F.....930 CCA, 91ah, 195 RC... Had planned on going with the 31M but this was a lot less work for not much difference in performance.
Yes, that...
my parents use fire glass in their propane fire pit in the backyard.... granted its a permanent fixture but the glass looks brand new and its been used quite often over the last three years. They have it in this oversized vase looking thing with a flame coming out around the perimeter

Your profile picture looks a lot like a rig that I've seen in the Souderton, PA area..... is that you?... I'm just outside of Philadelphia with a fellow 1999 Highlander
like you, I run a 3.4 4Runner.... I've had the RTT on the roof and on a trailer and hands down, its the trailer all the way..... so much easier and less of a MPG hit
Thanks for the information everyone... I decided to go with a 27F battery as it's less than two inches wider and has a much bigger capacity... It should fit in the space without too much modification,Mir any at all
wanted to thank everyone for their feedback... got the system mounted.
I think I'm going to loo for a 27F battery with he biggest capacity as the 4runner has "reversed" terminals and I want to avoid having to avoid messing with the cables. As its only the ARB fridge that I'll be running, the 91...

I currently run a 24F...
Awesome!!!! Thanks guys, that's the answer I was hoping to get!
Hopefully the X2 power group 31 battery from batteries plus (Northstar) comes down in price sometime soon...
Ray, the overland festival is just two hours away and I had planned on attending but I work Saturday morning then I've...
I posted a few days ago about a 100w solar set up... I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Renogy RV kit that I will be hard mounting to the roof rack of my 4runner to feed my ARB.
Now my question is, I've been reading all the different forums and instructions online and it's a bit...
Thanks!... I'll look into that.... I just want to clarify that its okay to leave the solar kit connected to the battery full time while driving around ( battery being charged by alternator) without any ill effects.
Hello...
I need some help trying to actualize what it is that i'm envisioning.
I drive a Toyota 4Runner with an ARB 50 fridge in the rear and a 24F Battery in the stock location
I have plans of installing a group 31 battery tray and battery in the near future.
I currently use a Solarland 90W...
