I have set my rear rack up so the door open with some of my bikes on there (the R1200RT gets in the way of 1 door opening fully).
But I am considering actually splitting the back door horizontally and having the bottom 1/2 barn doors like they are now and a single hatch type door on the top so...
This is the one I got. $40 not $30.

All of mine were 72”. One the 1st one I reworked it so I could fit a 78” sleeper sofa. That was a bunch of work for not a lot of gain. For all the others I have stuck with 72” bed and just hung my feet over the end if needed.
I would suggest changing that receptacle out to a standard 30 amp RV plug. Much easier than custom leads. Something like this. I personally use the marine versions but because they have the “marine” in the description they are twice the price [emoji848]...
I am reading this on the phone so I cannot clearly see the photos. So if your problem is scrubbing of the tread in a single direction then disregard the following (actually it’s still relevant but not for the symptom you are showing). If it is uneven wear across or between the tread blocks check...
You will have to get the dirt off the diamond plate to paint it so I would suggest getting it steam cleaned if possible then if you want it “cleaner” checkout the acid wash they use for cleaning up the aluminum on big rigs. Truck detainers will do it for a price.
As for painting the whole...

“Thunderbox
Noun
thunderbox (plural thunderboxes)
(Britain, Australia, slang) An outhouse or latrine: a rudimentary outdoor toilet.”
Thanks Matt. But just to set the record straight. All the planning and logistics kudos go to the crew from Overland Expo (Roseann, Alison and Cyan in particular). They took our suggestion (and probably the suggestions of a lot of others) and ran with it.
Great meeting you guys and what an amazing and inspiring build. Also thanks for your input in the DIY sessions. Maybe we should pair up next year. I can tell them what not to do and you can tell them how to do it right. [emoji848]
Just a bit of background on the Expo DIY area (hopefully without...
Mine was not that thrilled either. So very cautiously I explained if I’m the one doing the cleaning/dumping I get to pick the toilet. If she wanted to pick the toilet them she gets to do the cleaning/dumping.
Funny thing was listening to her showing it to people at expo over the weekend and...
"I used my super cheap ass "AC Gauge" And it read "green" pressure, but it builds to ~70 psi on the low side, then drops the compressor off, like every ~6-8 seconds."
Sounds like too much gas and its dropping out on high pressure. At around 80 degrees you should be between 35 - 50 psi on the...
Keep up. Hell you left me behind a long time ago.
Looking forward to seeing this truck someday (hopefully soon). Some great ideas going on here (that I will plagiarize in the future ?)
