My neighbor has been a big truck camper guy for probably 100yrs. LOL
His current rig which he’s had for 15yrs is a Duelie standard cab 3500 dodge with a huge rotten Lance camper. He’s in it about 4 months a year sometimes longer. He’s had just about every variation over the years.
He definitely...
LoL
Don’t exist the family rigs are largely ignored by all RV makers. Even ROA knows this issue and spends lots of time trying to find modifications to it Chinese ordered stuff so they can use show room stuff for family trips.?.
FWC is near by my understanding is they have done small tweaks but otherwise pretty much the same in construction.
Weight savings gets tough when your down to panel weight for cabinets not much material there so not much you can shave by getting high tech light weight. Its not much different...
Yep
But used units still need to be decent and still need to be far lower than new. Example Geopros same trailer brand new today can be found advertised by dealers at $26,000 new. Same trailer a yr old used with a loan on it, dragged through who knows what listed for $34,000 definitely not...
I chuckled about the break comments. Sever buddies years ago eventually gave up on their Tacoma primarily due to brake ability. Having done some trips with them and driven one a bunch no way in hell is a over loaded Tacoma able to out stop a RV within its rated loads.
They all ended up in...
Umm again your inexperience with axle loads and trailers shows.
All SUVs especially reach max rear axle loads before they reach max pay load numbers. Unless!!! The Tow vehicle is typically empty then max trailer numbers typically fall within axle ratings. All passenger weights and gear weights...
All the non campers and Type A’s that bought this crap. Are trying to unload it now. Another 4 months and it will be a used market blood bath. For the handy types who figured they would need to basically rebuild anything they bought, can buy in a fee months at a price that likely reflects what...
Your reading skills need attention to detail work. You missed the part about “Living in the vehicle/ trailer” which case the 4runner payload is far to small.
Can you do weekend trips? Hell yes!! Can you pack all your crap in it and tow while living out of it? Nope
Not only is it down but the site ownership is available to purchase. I’m a tech guy use to teach sales teams big data tech. So yeah the site physically doesn’t exist anymore nor is it owned. Sooooooo… yeah don’t put deposits down on vaporware
Trail marker website is gone. Some advice don’t put a deposit down on unbuilt stuff which you can then loose ie no money and no trailer?. Especially today where toys aren’t selling
Did the Russian morph into a new contributor?
Combustion power isn’t going anywhere except where it’s needed. I grew up running cattle, doing some alfalfa, and some other field crops. EV’s aren’t a threat to that life. The current bonkers literally crazy town engineered miss information climate...
I have noticed all the out west experienced tow types end up going this way regarding sticking as close as they can to 1/2 ish the max rating. I think we all have done the long, big climbs in hot, windy conditions or the big head winds in 100 degree temps etc. Nothing worse than being in vehicle...
All my Tacoma buddies move up primarily for one reason. Braking power can’t be made better and they all seemed to migrate to heavier loads especially as they did longer farther trips.
