Looks like a nice little unit. Put it away in storage when not needed, more counter space if you delete the gas cooktop. And with external 110v, cook outside.

Its great that you can have that kind of outreach with him. There is a HBE on its way to OK4WD soon, or already? There was the one that went to San Diego but no real details on it that I have seen since it was sold. I like the pull out drawer idea for the batteries. Not full time living demands...
Interesting, thanks for the update. Hopefully your suggestions on the battery access works out. Would be nice to plant 2 x OHMMU next to each other. The HBE should be in NJ soon, hopefully they have a detailed look at interior storage. I would like to see an electrical system a step up from the...
I looked for mention for the BMS and went right by it. I'll just blame the poorly written description. Still it's a nice battery, interesting that the use Tesla batteries. Wrap a heater pad on it, I guess that would work if needed.
Lithionics tour from fours years ago. They are an OEM supplier...
No internal heating, but also there is no internal BMS for the OHMMU?
Lithionics has some interesting stuff. Not just assembled but made in the USA. No listed price, have to contact them.

The next evolution.
After many requests we have designed side storage boxes for those that want to mate their CAMP-X to our Aluma Series Tray.
Storage box dimensions:
16" deep x 20.5" high x 81" long
These Trays are quickly evolving to be used for a variety of different purposes, they...
I am interested to see how this develops. At more than twice the cost of the HBE + tray what brings that next level? Lithium vs AGM, foot longer floor length, rear bunk bed, wet bath, diesel cooktop, diesel hydronic heat, AC is an option, no awning, same fresh water capacity.
Nice to see them expanding in this space. Big jump from the HBE + tray cost and the cost of the new Base Camp model. I wonder if a hardwall version of the HBE is feasible without going full Base Camp hardwall?
Million ways to build it and a million experts. For anyone doing a build spend some time around sailboats. If you are near a marina of any kind and are able to access some 25 to 35 foot cabin sailboats one can get some good ideas on best use of space, storage, etc. Certainly the durability for...
