Offroad capability of full size truck

Yep. I figured it was available on the smaller F150s. I knew it was on option on the crew cabs. I was just too lazy to do the research, but I’ve done plenty on available options for the Super Duty so I knew it off the top of my head. I was originally intending to snag the 58 gal Transfer Flow...

Offroad capability of full size truck

Regardless of cab on a 250/350 it’ll have as large or larger bed than a SCAB 6.5.

Offroad capability of full size truck

Not to burst your bubble, but a reg cab F250/350 have a TINY fuel tank. The SCLB has about 5-6 additional gallons, but it’s still pretty small, The CCSB has a 34 gallon tank, and a CCLB has a 48 gal tank. For tank perspective alone I’d probably look at a SCSB or SCLB. Heck even a CCSB with rear...

Offroad capability of full size truck

The payload in a HDPP F-150 is not going to be remotely close to a similarly optioned F250. Can you make a stripped down 150 reg cab HDPP similar to a crew cab well optioned 250? Absolutely. I’ve got a loaded out 22’ Lariat Tremor 250 with over 2800 lbs payload (2820ish to be exact). That’s a...

Offroad capability of full size truck

I’ve taken a F350 on 37s with 18K of equipment and trailer behind it a lot of places you wouldn’t expect to find a super duty. It’s funny what you can achieve when you need to get somewhere with a heavy foot, 4lo, and good tires. These trucks are far more capable than most give them credit for!

Fan placement is optional. I chose the back half, which works out better for me for two reasons. It leaves more real estate up front for solar panels. Being the solar wiring ports are up front, I’d rather have my panels placed there. Also it allows the fan to be placed near the open portion of...

Got a few things wired in tonight. Just waiting on my solar panels to tie in. My little guy is loving it!

Depending on where you have your vent placed. I have mine at the back of the camper, and have a ton of real estate for panels.

Planning on throwing my OVS 270 awning back on tomorrow. I mounted it last week while waiting for my truck, but then removed it today to actually mount my truck. That much weight on one side was making balancing an issue when lifting it. I’ll make a few tweeks in the AM as well. Need to move my...

High. I have the roof vent, and the high bars are necessary to clear it.

Picked my truck up about 3:45pm today. By 5pm it looked like this! I’m very happy so far, but have a few tweeks needed.

I did, and while I did not receive the molle panel at the time of pickup I did notice they had TONS of inventory on hand. I’m not blaming them for the molle panel. There were other factors at hand (mine, not theirs) that I don’t care to disclose on a public forum. They went above and beyond to...

I need to call them today about my molle panel. I ordered one with the build, but at the time of pick up they didn’t have one available. Said they’d ship it to me in a week or two, and I’ve just forgotten about it since. I heard from the dealer today, and they trying to have my truck ready this...

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

I forgot you were mounting the wheel chock on there. I’d definitely stick with what Built Rite advises if it has a higher working load.

Hear a quick interior video I just shot. At the end I tried to set the bed down with one hand, and it was a bit loud. Don’t pay it any heed. I dropped it the last inch or so and didn’t feel like recording it again. Added a couple closer shots of the wiring as well. I was impressed with the...

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

I threw a rod carrier on my roof rails this AM, and took a quick video of the t track with twist lock inserts being utilized. Quick as long as you’re not trying to film with your second hand lol https://youtube.com/shorts/Ty1z8UWw04o?si=wS-Yjwa39bp58Vuo

Their awning brackets are very strong. However they’re not necessary. I’ve got 3 brackets from OVS that I could’ve easily used, but weren’t sure if they’d have been compatible at the time. So I went ahead and purchased Lone Peak’s brackets. They just use the T track all the way around for...

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

Pretty sure that takes the twist lock style inserts. Insert them horizontally, turn the bolt which turns the nut vertically and locks into place. Then torque it down. Very quick and easy to use without removing anything.

Tire blew out 20 min from the house at the end of a 4300 mile road trip lol the 3rd port was an accident on my part. I added a couple options after my original order, and didn’t realize I had already added a solar port. So two solar ports and a port for lighting.

I don’t have a ton to drop. I was set to head north on a Sunday morning for install, and dropped my truck (2022 F-250 Tremor) off at the dealer the Monday before for a relay replacement and oil change before the long trip. By Saturday morning I hadn’t been told my truck was ready, so I drove up...
