My initial thought was to use a Thule track system with Yakima saddles and rollers on the shell. However, with this setup, in order to have the roller far enough toward the back of the shell to be useful for loading, I'll have ~5' hanging off the back of the shell and it'll be a stretch to get a...
No, but I think you are one step closer to needing matching Campaign Furniture Chairs. Great Land Rover. So have you buffed out the hole Tiger yet. How does it look?
I installed the Expo patch. Made a hang tag with the assemble instructions and shipped it off to 1leglance. The Campaign Chair should be heading off to Baja shortly with the Disabled Explorers. Who knows maybe will get a photograph of Coco in this chair. Enjoy Lance!
Where is the Campaign Chair?
Here is an update on where the Campaign Chair is currently and where it is going in the near future. This is post number 3 of this thread. Thanks
September or October would be fine. Please let me know when you schedule a specific trip or time. Thanks
Yes, 1legLance is going to be in Baja with the chair that weekend. Time slots are filling up quickly for this summer. I am going to do a separate post with were and when the chair is...
Did you have any dates in mind. I would love to see the chair get some time in Utah. Beautiful State!
Not exactly. You could however attach the bag to the bottom of the chair using the fastex buckles and the bag handle. Also Andy from the Campaign Furniture Company is looking into changing...
Baja Cool, The Campaign Chair will be sent out Today! Enjoy.:sombrero:

AT and OJ Open House May 2010
Well the Campaign Chair made the rounds at the Adventure Trailers / Overland Journals Open House. I had a good time explaining the idea behind the chair campaign. Here are just a few of the folks that tried the chair out.

For those of you that are camping tonight(Friday). Do you have a GPS coordinate for that location. I hope to be out there sometime this evening. My guess is I will camp at the AT/OJ. Drop my trailer and be ready for tomorrows Smiley Rock run. Any info please PM me.
Thanks
I am glad you are thinking about safety first. I am curious what Hi-Lift has for answers on there chain. My guess is that there chain will be fine. It is the Home Depot Chain that concerns me. Since you are taking the time to learn the correct way to use your new toys, I thought you might...
Hi Dave, Yes the simplicity of this design lends itself well to the novice woodworker. In several of the photographs I have one of these roll up tables shown. A big Thanks to Mark Stephens(Articulate) for that fine table. Below is the thread Mark started on his table. Quick summary I ended...
Very Nice. Should I say Perfect! I like the the Win door on the passenger side, the long bed, and of course the Expo White helps. Keep posting photographs.
I am by no means a chain expert but since you are starting out I will ask you this. Do you know the WLL(working load limit) of the chain you are using. The reason I ask is most use a grade 70 transport chain. It is usually a copper color. I just don't want to see you get hurt if that chain...
Felt like a King this weekend at my son's baseball game. I have managed to get the assemble time down to less than two and half minutes. The only down side is I have upped the ante now at the baseball games. I better keep the Engel fridge a secret. Next they will be expecting ice cream.
Sierra's June 11-13 - Let me see when nwood's is going to be back from his trip. There is a possibility that we could make this happen. Weight rating is not a problem. The chair is designed for upwards of 350 lbs. Price of the chair is $300.00. Not bad for a hand crafted chair made in the...
