I bought there plans and started off building there water box. It was easy to build and supplies were readily available. It was very light weight. I let my 3 and 5 year old boys play with it. They would drag it around, stand on it, drop it and it still looked great!

I got the Jeep out on the freeway yesterday. The new fairing works well. I had the T-tops off of the Jeep. I can still hear the wind coming over the fairing but at least it is not whistling thru the roof rack. Some of the wind noise is coming from the awning now that it is mounted on the...

Hi Tony,
The short answer is to control the wind noise going thru the rack.
The long answer is I built the roof rack with a fairing in mind. I purposely moved the front cross bar as far back as possible so that the fairing would have a good angle to the wind. On my last rack...
Yes, I did the lower edge by sliding the aluminum sheet in between my tool box drawers and applying downward pressure. Worked pretty well. The upper bend that goes to the two bolts I had done at a local shop.
Thanks
I started on the Fairing today. Picked up a long piece of Aluminum and started to form it to the roof rack and the Jeep. I think I am going to use a piece of door edge trim to protect the Jeep paint from the fairing. Oh and I need to paint it.
Well I worked on the awning a little today. This time I mounted it on the driver side. I painted the 12 gauge 1"x2" mounting bar. Added a few bolts and a couple end caps. The awning is now interchangeable between both sides of the Jeep.
Yes it goes into the garage. Did it bolt right up. Not exactly but it was very close. When it is completely done I will post up how I did it.
Jeremy here it is folded up.
WTB - AT Owners do you have any cross bars that you are not using. This is the original cross bar used by AT for there trailers. I am looking for 1 or 2 complete bars with feet. I want to put a larger tent on the trailer and need a third or possible a fourth cross bar.
Thanks
I have debated putting another tent on the Jeep. In some ways this might be more practical or for that mater getting an OzTent 5 in conjunction with my current setup. Will see, maybe I will get lucky and find a buyer for this great tent! Thanks for the positive feedback on the Overland.
I have an Autohome Overland Roof Top Tent size Large for sale in San Diego, CA. $1500 OBO. This has been a fantastic RTT but my wife is complaining that it is too tight for the 4 of us. Overall the tent is in excellent shape. The cover is the only thing that is showing some wear. The seams...
My take is you need to pick one or the other. A kayak that is good for class III water is not going to track very well on flat water. If your flat water travels are less than a mile it really should not matter. In this case I would go for the river boat that fits your size and needs best...
