I am currently using a similar box made by Akro-Mils. The size I prefer is model #39120 (21.5"x15"x12.5", LxWxH) I can fit 12 of these boxes into my Adventure Trailers, Chaser #15 including the Engle fridge. Great product! In 2 years of owning these boxes I have only managed to crush one lid...

Sportsman Matt I am certain it was the King Starlite XL in 1/2". I went with the Starlite XL because it is lighter in weight.

Thanks Martyn for the reply. I have given the idea of slotting the holes several go arounds. My concerns are 1 not having a smooth top surface, 2 there are a lot of bolts (20) or so holding that panel on, and 3 the close proximate to the material edge (bolts). Sorry for the hijack!

Martyn I believe this will be your problem with King Starlite. I have been trying to use it as a platform material on my Jeep. Look at the photographs. This is black 1/2" Starlite XL. The span in the middle is 3 feet. I installed the Starlite when it was cool out. When the sun heats...

Not sure on the 98 but on a 2003 Rubicon it was a plug and play connector on the passenger side tail light. It is difficult to get in there because of the emissions stuff behind the tail light. Hope this helps. Are you trying to install a flat four plug or a 7 way plug?
