Update us on the performance of it over the years. Will be interesting to know how it will function for a long term solution. I hope you have great luck with it.
When we were offroad in NM in our 3500 the last week, we were running about 23 front and 26 rear with the trailer. And 23 front and 20 rear without. Hope that helps. Factory Power Wagon wheels and 37" load range E Nitto Ridge Grapplers. If you are running a D or C range, your pressures may need...
Looks like tons of fun was had. The different assortment of vehicles and gear shown is nice.
Love the blue on that S10 BTW. My favorite color on that bike.

For last night, we rented a cabin, washed some clothes, got everything cleaned up, rested some, and got things ready for our trip back.
This morning, we went through the mountain tunnel and headed home. Absolutely stunning trip. NM definitely impressed us with its beauty.
We have loved this trip through NM on the continental divide. We ended up about 50/50 for gravel and tarmac. There were a few places between pie town and where we got off west of Jemez that were blocked and we had to take alternate routes. We also spent a night in the Santa Fe Mountains last...
I get the "whole lot more work than I thought" thing. Was/is the same with our camper trailer. And it's the same, just a box. It takes a TON of detail time to do properly.
You are doing a great job however! Love it!
It's been an amazing and very cool stay here in the mountains on some BLM land. We found a nice camp, set up everything, and enjoyed some cornhole toss, some card games, then cooked a tortilla soup. The elevation here is right at 9000ft, and currently it is 54°F on my gauge. Was 73°F for the...
Well since I'm up early drinking some coffee, I figured I'd update the thread. We left out of Carlsbad yesterday morning and headed to Sitting Bull falls. The water was amazing, and the boys and I couldn't help but stick our feet in the cold dip. We spent a while there sightseeing, we saw a...
We've been pulling this trailer all across Texas and into New Mexico now. It has been pulling fantastic. Zero complaints at all with the mods done so far. And the only changes we can see will be minimal.
We want to catch the Continental Divide in Pie Town in two days, then head north...
This morning, early, we broke away from the Texas heat, to head to some cooler New Mexico Temps. We made it to Carlsbad NM, which is still hot, but we will be staying in Cloudcroft Tomorrow which will be in the 50s at night. Still, we had a fun drive. And some amazing sites already. Even stopped...
Well, I think since I finally have some time to update this thread since we are on vacation I will.
I had a chance to do some organization on the bed. So I got that done a couple weeks back. Then I've been slowly trying to find a home for everything. It's taken some time. But I finally have...
Loaded up the food on the kitchen side. Loaded the fridge and headed out. Got us a great campsite by the Guadalupe River. And hope to enjoy it a few days.
