    Small Toy Hauler?

You can go that route. I had a few I looked at. I found the same issues given they all use the same sourced stuff just different people assembling it. Going small independent builder and skipping anything RV on the interior gets you the best product. ?

    Small Toy Hauler?

? not everyone needs or wants to be a expedition unobtainium type?. Also doesn’t reflect how much someone is worth either. I could ship a Australian made whatever here for $120,000 pay cash. But Id rather buy a newer bigger sailboat to replace my current one if I’m spending that kind of $.

    Small Toy Hauler?

Any wood in a RV is a water rot issue with any leak. They all leak lol. The less wood the better?. Especially around windows and other holes. The weak spots in aluminum framed stuff like the Geo is the wood floor and ply roof skin

Tired of Old Junk but no Interest in Newer 4x4s

LOL I was so close to doing that even had an offer on an over priced one. In the end soo glad the dealer tried to pull the most blatant BS and I walked away. Would have only been slightly better than the J80 regarding power and comfort and the same lousy mileage and range ?. The 07 Sequoia was a...

    Small Toy Hauler?

Join the E Pro FB owners group. Many owners with 1000’s of miles long trips that once they sorted out the loose and poorly connected stuff have had very little issues. Personally I’d be really happy with no stove top also. If I were to order? No oven/stove top! I would just use my $80 induction...

    Small Toy Hauler?

Wolf Pup is wood stick staple built walls and roof. Just fyi Think of the Wolf pup 19 as the $15,000 cheapest built toy hauler and the Geo Pro as the $18,000 toy hauler step up? Rpod is staple wood frame built but one step worse non walkable roof structure. Vs wolf pup is a walkable roof. ...

    Small Toy Hauler?

Similar situation only super active family of 4 with bikes, boats / stuff that also likes camping vs RV parking lots. The small Toy hauler is new its more of a Hybrid vs a full on “toy hauler” to your big heavy rolling warehouse point. There are two types currently trending a resr lift hatch...

Wait, do I actually want a van? How about a travel trailer?

I’ve seen some nice built Transits for reasonable $ recently all private sale and pretty much sold a day or two after listed. Any fair deal goes fast. Any crap deal lingers. Just fyi

Wait, do I actually want a van? How about a travel trailer?

Trailers work well for base camping and where parking space allows. Several local dads all run vans due to their snow ski use. Most ski resorts don’t have space for trailers in our region. Also trailer setup leaves a fully functional unloaded vehicle to be used once your base camped. Definitely...

Wait, do I actually want a van? How about a travel trailer?

The 19FBTH is the only model they are offering it on and the only one that would work for my needs.

Wait, do I actually want a van? How about a travel trailer?

If your planning any sort of rugged trips especially transiting hot places then long climbs a very good rule of thumb. Dry weight 1/2 or less your tow rig max capacity and when loaded, people, dogs, water etc your not more than 80% your max.

Wait, do I actually want a van? How about a travel trailer?

The Chinese built Australian knock offs are heavy thats one thing people here are consistently warning potential buyers about. I went full circle covered em all. Going with an adjustable air suspension, aluminum sides/roof framed Azdel fiberglass siding 20ft front bed toy hauler. Geo Pro...

    Black Series fire hazard

Sail boat. Only speed boat stuff I run is tenders to big sailboats. 5-6 knots up wind 12-14knots down wind on a 20ft hull. My big boat racing experience I’m a foredeck guy, the crazy guys that run around on the pointy end and even go up the mast while racing thats me. Hitting 20’s even mid 20’s...

    F150 - 2.7L vs 3.5L vs 5.0L

The modern Autos are definitely light years more slippery regarding efficiency. They are too slippery now engine braking has become far far less. Hell my 5spd manual 2.5L Subaru Legacy had better engine braking than my Expedition 10spd. But the brakes on the Expedition are massive so I’m hoping...

Anyone use their ARB compressor to inflate SUPs or Kayaks?

Yes really helps the manual pump I have for the RIb it’s probably 20-30% more volume than the SUP manual pump also can switch to removing air which it a must to get the heavy canvas packed down.

Anyone use their ARB compressor to inflate SUPs or Kayaks?

I have a 11ft body Glove SUP came with the two way manual pump takes me about 9 minutes to pump up 7-9psi. They are only rated to 15psi. Came with an electric pump but haven’t tried it typically those are high volume low psi like a blower not a low volume high psi tire pump. My RIB is only max...

Tired of Old Junk but no Interest in Newer 4x4s

Took me a long time to sell the J80. In the end I didn’t miss it. Get a trail ebike toss it on the back of a 2door convertible. Best fun on and off pavement ?
