While traveling by motorcycle, I use this:
It makes decent shots on the stove top. Really. Italians use it in their homes. In fact, I used it while building my "Expedition Trailer" last summer.
I have just acquired an AeroPress to take with me while using the trailer since I have more...
"The simple / direct solution is cut your cord close to the cig plug and add Anderson connectors to the cut ends. Turn the cig plu into an adapter. Put it on when you need it, remove it when you dont. Why have two different cords (besides redundancy). Make the cord serve both connection types."...
This topic comes up frequently in this forum. Here is an article I found useful on the topic. I didn't write it, and I tested the conclusions aginst common sense, and I suggest you do that also. Hopefully it will give you some pointers.

Yup, they are designed to be attached exatly as shown. Greatest invention for cold weather drivers since tires with lugs. I put one on...
"Minor change - I have hated the chrome strip across the grille since the day we brought the car home, and I didn't like the idea of just painting it. Subaru makes a mesh "sport" grille, and I had planned on getting it eventually. Problem is that it's $250! I finally caved and took my grille out...
I started with Spot but switched to inReach a few years ago. One of the main reasons is coverage. Spot does not cover the northern latitudes real well and has other limitations in other parts of the globe. If you take a look at their coverage and compare it to inReach, you will see what I...
