I have a few more things I wanted to add to the build out of the bed area, but have always wanted to lay down a spray in liner before I got too far along. I took me a while to save up for it, but finally got it sprayed on this week. I am pleased with the results.
Went with the over the rail...
I spent an hour or so looking for a good spot to put the add on fuse panel from Blue Sea.
Finally decided to make a bracket and mount it to the top of the bracket that hold's the factory jack in place.
Dug around the garage and found some scrap aluminum.
Got a little bit of shop time in this weekend. Mounted up the LED's on the front bumper. I was not a fan of the look of the mounting brackets so I cut up a black shock boot to slide over the mounting brackets in order to hide them.
I have not decided whether or not I like the look of the...
OK, so I'm a little bored today and I figured I'd post up pics of the goodies that came in this week from last weekends shopping spree. (I got bored last weekend weekend too LOL!)
Some compact LEDs for the front bumper.
Add on fuse panel from Blue Sea.
Blue Sea plug and socket for install...
Fantastic find !! I will forever hold the 720's near and dear to my heart. I would have never gotten rid of my last one if I hadn't gotten to the point where I could no longer drive a manual.
I highly recommend picking up a Weber 32/36 carb. Substantial power increase as well as MPG's.Clean up...
Yep, used to use 2 low all the time in my trail rig. Like the guys said, awesome torque/take off. I would use it when wanting to take advantage of the power and torque but only wanted rear wheel drive for the handling.
Worked great for tuff truck racing. Awesome off the line but when getting...
Got hammered with the most snow we've have in many many years yesterday and today. I am beyond pleased with the performance of the Frontier in these conditions.
Right at 20" here in the town I live in and she's still holding her own. I have never owned another vehicle with a tire this size that...
Finally made a little more time to work on the on board air set up. I mounted the compressor a while back but thats as far as I got. I looked around online a little this morning until I was able to find a schematic for wiring up the compressor.
After some deliberation I decided how I wanted to...
I plan to check for mileage improvements when I get past the smileage. I have trouble keeping my foot out of it so far, just because I love the improved sound. Not too much but just enough. I feel there is a definite increase in power.
I had the Volant installed for a couple weeks before I...
I'm super jealous of the RTT. I have always been interested in having an RTT but with my handicap it wouldn't be feasible for me to have one.
The sheer usability of your setup is going to be fantastic ! Hop in the truck and head for the mountains !
I went ahead and got some custom exhaust installed on the truck. I went with 2-1/4" pipe from where the two pipes come together just behind the cat's.
Chose a Flowmaster 40 series muffler and tucked the exit up high and tight near the bumper.
Finally found a a used Volant cold air intake in my price range, so i snatched it up and got it installed yesterday. Very easy install .
Next up will be exhaust, pipes are not in terrible shape but the muffler is getting pretty rough.Probably will replace everything from the cats back.
