    Help with a F-350.

Cab noise is pretty loud. Other than that, I’d like a little more room. But no biggie. Other than the noise, it’s a perfect rig. Even tho it’s high mileage, still runs like a dream.

    Help with a F-350.

Super singles are definitely a must. I would like more room and be able to stand up. Ideally I would like a 12ft SRW box truck. But I would also like a stand box camper like a slide in camper, that way I have a truck to use.

    Help with a F-350.

I’m basically being given a 2003 F-350 dually. No engine, has transmission. And no bed. It had a 7.3 PSD and its a 4x4 crew cab. I have a 7.3 van now. I’m not afraid of finding a cheap 7.3 and rebuilding the motor and putting it in the truck. Here’s what I’m thinking. Make it a SRW, build...

I can't reply to every post, but thanks for enjoying my trip, and the tips!! First I wanna say, we did about 7k miles. Some long 12-14 hour days driving. In Colorado, my battery light came on. Thought I was gonna have to change the alternator, turns out it was just cold. A day later it went...

There is always a trade off with trying to have a comfortable place to sleep and carry a bike. I just said screw it and went full on bed. I'm going to either get a small enclosed trailer or a hitch hauler, or both.

Leaving Monday for our around the USA trip, still have some small things to finish. Maybe even build a rear bumper. I bought a Skottle. They're the tits. Other than a good cleaning, it's done: Added a LED reading light and LED strip mood lighting: Almost ready to go. Almost.

Southwest Disk or Tembo Tusk Skottle?

I'm going on a 3-4 road trip around the USA in 2 weeks. I own a Southwest disk, and decided to try the Skottle. I ordered one and it already came in. I'll be giving road reports with it ASAP.

Not sure how accurate it is, but I was told by East Coast Gear Supply: New gear sets MUST be broken in correctly to prevent damage. Not following proper break-in procedures will lead to overloading and overheating the ring and pinion as well as breaking down and ruining the gear oil. Not...
