For the 2020 model year Ford only offers the AWD version with the 3.73 ratio.
I noticed on fordparts.com they have a 4.10 front drive axle....

Backordered, maybe this is an indication it will...
@Highlander
Not planning for a locker.
Adding a locker hasn't been "proven" on the USDM Transit AWD system yet and I don't plan to be the first.
It does have LSD.
I'm really just looking for snowy road traction.
Recently took it on a couple steep loose gravel/sand roads and it had tons of traction.
The van is Magnetic Metallic. Last year for this color I hear.
Interior build is done (and likely to be for sale soon), 4 seater, 3.5 sleeper, second row seat turns into a bed or reverses to form a dinette. 17 gal fresh, 7 gal grey under the floor, indoor/outdoor kitchen, Isotherm fridge...
I can stand up in the middle roof, its about 5'10". That is with about 1/2" floor and 1/4" foam/fabric + 1/8" hardboard on the ceiling. I'm literally head against the roof.
I don't find that I stand THAT much in the van. Cooking and dishes, and I try to do those outside as much as possible.
High...
The impression I got from my salesman recently was that he could order just about anything and get it before the end of October when the model year ends.
As a result of this recall announcement I have been actively looking for an alternative to the Dometic fridge I have had on order. Then today after a month of waiting I just received my "recalled" unit complete with warning stickers.
Now if only the Dometic slide would show up I could continue...
It looks like you are from Renton, Washington? There's got to be 100's of upholstery and fabric supply shops within 2 hours drive where you could go try different types of foam products and get advice.
Do a search on the internet, make some calls, put on your mask and get to work.
;)
EDIT...
This is "Bridge" or "Elk Flat" Hot springs,
It appeared to be open Memorial weekend, there were at least 50 people there.
Good intel on the lower culvert though,
Can you imagine a time where a NA manufacturer would ever publish a pic of their van doing this on their website?
I would purchase one of these if made available in the US market.
I would try "Corridor" for a board rental just south of the wave.
Not sure if Idaho River Sports has surf boards but they do have other float toys right on the pond 27th st. side.
If you do head to Stanley I would expect the hot springs north of town to be open, like Sunbeam or Mormon Bend...

Soon we will likely have no high capacity vans....
I wonder if this would have been different had Nissan introduced a full size unit body van instead of the body on frame NV.
Its pretty quiet around here with the covid-19, not many things going on. If you weren't at Guido's Pizza (sipping rootbeers?) a block from where you were parked you should stop there for a slice and a beer.
If you are planning to be in the area a while, I recommend the HWY55, Banks, Garden...
"Fits AWD and rear wheel drive vans"
I was wondering about this the other day as the architecture is the same.
Seems like the install time of this kit would be significantly quicker and less difficulty than the previous 2WD kit.
Is it "mid-june" yet? :)
