I have always been a Michelin Man but I have to admit that their off-road / snow and mud capabilities are not the best.
On my F-350 cc srw with 20's I'm going to go with the KO2's that many here and on Tirerack say are their number one reccomendation...
You guys are making it hard for me to avoid this event!
That Grandby is just about what I want to do to my SD!
I really want to find out more about the ARB lockers...
Muddier thanks for the great report!
I'm looking forward to your video of the various passes. I want to try your route in a cc long bed super duty maybe next year.
I also like your bumper. What kind is it?
Thanks!
Great video. That's one area I have never been to (yet).
I liked the off-road driving especially at 27:30.
Towards the end of the video you drove through some concrete barriers. Were those left over from WW 2?
Thanks again!
My understanding is that the Carli systems are the top of the line. I may save my pennies and see if I can get one.
I haven't made any suspension modes to my truck yet.
Well let's just look at the published facts...
According to Ford

At this point I am leaning towards the 2.5" front suspension lift from Icon...
Great conversation about something that I hold near and dear.

If your not intent on doing any rock crawling I would suggest either an excursion or a suburban.
Both will have plenty of room for you take a nap in...
While I agree that Cummins is a great engine I have to say that the VM eco Diesel engine that I have in my Jeep GC is an impressive engine with lots of torque and great mileage...
I'm keeping an eye out on the Nissan too.
Lions, Tigers and Diesels oh my!!!!,!
Most people who comment negatively about diesels haven't owned one... Being in construction I have had a diesel pick up (and several other diesel vehicles) in one variant or another for 20 years. I currently have an F-350 CC LWB SRW with 135K on the clock...
Great write up and build. I have an '06 Larriet and have done many of the mods you did.
You might want to look at your alternator. Unfortunately the one Ford put in the Super Duties is the same one they use in the Fusion!! Many guys are going with larger units to keep the batteries fully charged...
