    badm0t0rfinger's 2014 Raptor build

If I buy a raptor i'd take multiple trips a year to baja to use it like it should, and it would get to spend the rest of the year rattling down our FSR's here in Canadaland.

    badm0t0rfinger's 2014 Raptor build

Ya i'm out on building my own for less, sure I could buy a nice lariat F150, supercharge it, long travel suspension etc and have a more capable truck for less money, but 0 warranty and basically 0 re sale value... No thanks. I'd rather pony up the change for a "real" raptor and just be done with...

    badm0t0rfinger's 2014 Raptor build

If they actually make a supercharged 5.2 raptor, I will be first in line. Not because i'm one of the "HAS TO HAVE V8 DONT CARE" morons (My last like 7 trucks have been ecoboosts), but just because blown v8 supertruck that can run with the big boys in baja? Yes please. Although i'm quite leery...

    Tire Choices for South America

I'm not a duratrac fan at all. I'll get roasted for that, but i've tried them 3 or 4 times and never liked them.

None of the pictures seem to work?

    Tire Choices for South America

Something like a Toyo CT/M55, I would use a 12 ply commercial tire as they are typically the toughest tire out there.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

Oh no no I was talking about spinning all 4, like a 4hi launch

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

The computer isn't allowing it to build boost by brake boosting, so I virtually guarantee it won't spin all 4.
  9. McCarthy

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

    Nah I don't think it'll spin all 4

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

I think this is the worst possible combo for speed, but man this thing moves. Even at 4000 ft of elevation, on 87 octane (de-rates), levelled 2.25", and with 10 ply tires. Oh and of course the Platinum is the heaviest configuration. Even still, look at this. Video made with CGI of course, in...

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

Hahahahahahaha It was 10c (50f) yesterday, and supposed to be 12c (55f) today, so I spent the afternoon detailing the new truck, Woke up to 3" of fresh snow. ****

I do have max tow, that kinda sucks. I was keeping an eye out for raptor take off's. Oh well.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

Fair enough, I drove by my parents house to show them the new truck and my dad said the same thing. It's a "kid" thing he says. Lol.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

What's a rockstar look? I don't like OEM wheels or I would just leave the platinum 20's on it. Just preference.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

295/65/18 are 32.9" tall, they should fit on just about anything. The 295/70/18's are 34.3. A "35" tire is usually actually 34.5, so a 295/70/18 is basically a 35" tire. The 0 offset wheels is what is killing me.

Cosmetics, and the truck is already almost too big off road, I decided to sacrifice the foot of bed space.

Factory backspacing is like +40 which is impossible with aftermarket wheels, they come in either -12, 0, or +18/20. It would be pretty easy to make it work on pavement, but next to impossible offroad. It would still rub.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

Going to have to go down a size in tires... These rub badly when backing up with the wheels turned, and rub going over speed bumps forward with the wheels turned. Arghhhhhh Ordered a set of 275/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Really wanted to keep the 295/70/18s. Oh well.

2021's don't come with flares in any trim unfortunately. In other news, a picture.
