    2000 Ford 7.3L Motovan build (225's build cont'd)

Did you ever get to work on the roof rack? I ordered those same JCR offroad roof rack feet today for a homebrew rack I plan on.

Colorado ZR2 and Tacoma TRD Pro compared

You can get a 2017 extended cab 4x4 5 speed tacoma SR for 25k MSRP (just built on on their website)....which I would imagine is a bit quicker, gets better MPG, and is safer then the 1993 pickup. So It can be done.

Colorado ZR2 and Tacoma TRD Pro compared

My argument is solid. A 3/4 ton truck is overkill for 90% of the avg. Joe homeowner. 'Working' for a truck can take many meanings. GM and their designers and engineers would rather have some huge piece of plastic (that does not affect crash worthiness) hanging off the front of the truck...

Colorado ZR2 and Tacoma TRD Pro compared

Exactly.....CHEVY released it. Not Toyota. People have been begging for TOYOTA to produce a truck like the ZR2, or a Tacoma with a Diesel (which they already produce for the rest of the world) The TRD Pro is a great off road truck in its own way. And about the BRZ/FRS......what a great...

Colorado ZR2 and Tacoma TRD Pro compared

Not relevant to the original article posted. The article was about gas vs. gas, which it has to be, due to Toyota not offering a Diesel in the Tacoma. Now, when/if Toyota offers a Diesel in their small trucks, then you can come back and talk about how awesome your diesel MPGs are.

Colorado ZR2 and Tacoma TRD Pro compared

What kind of ridiculousness is that? Trucks are supposedly built for working and pulling......and GM would rather make a cool looking huge *** plastic bumper instead of rating the truck to work harder? Aesthetics have completely ruined trucks

    Difference between Hilux & Tacoma

The Hilux gained its reputation in the 80s and 90s when the American trucks were all going IFS and getting more creature comforts. The rest of the world Toyota trucks were solid axle, diesel, crew cab, dead simple. America got IFS, AC, power windows and locks. Completely different...

Not So Subtle E350 Shuttle - 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed

any recent work on this? have you decided on a tire brand? Coils or leaves for the front lift? I assume the shop replaced all the fuel filters while draining the tank? Dirty/old filters can cause many driveability issues.

There are wheel bearings and races inside the hub, easily replaceable. Some of the knuckle rebuild kits come with new bearings. Go ahead and rebuild both sides (driver and passenger) while you're at it. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

not that bad. Used parts should be easy to come by. The hub would need to come off anyway to do a knuckle rebuild.

What do you mean by new axles? New housing or new shafts/CVs? Needing new shafts is not that common, especially on a stock truck. I'm sure it needs a knuckle rebuild, unless done recently. That is a very common and easily fixed issue. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

As long as it runs and drives ok with minimal rust I'm ok with it. Can't afford a time capsule. Diesel or gas (aid any non-US hilux come with gas engine?) I'd really like a 81-83 body style, but 84-90 is acceptable. Sure they are LHD?
