Well, Im back in the AMBO game! Just picked up a 1996 E350 Wheeled Coach with 112k on the 7.3 stroke. I have to say it is SUPER Clean! No rust and really well maintained inside an out. It has everything I like to have in my projects, side window, speakers in the box, and Powerstroke..... BUT...

I was high bidder up until a few min ago.... Prices are going crazy these days. If I wasnt on the East coast I would prob go higher.

I own a 2000 LC with 376k...... you could never tell if you didnt know the mileage. The GX is also great. Go with the LC if you need more space, and I assume it has less miles than your GX.

Super stoked I found your build! I have done several Ambo builds and am always curious to see what others are doing. I REALLY love the live edge counter top, brings in a lot of "home". For me ambulances really are the best starting place for these types of builds!

Yes! For sure it is NOT as good as the 2011 but overall still an incredible package. Not sure if anyone has noticed but the turbo lag since 'the fix" is horrible, esp witht the AC on. Once it is out of Warranty we will go ahead and get it tuned.... maybe before

Coachgeo... I agree. My issue is going to be communicating this fact to my wife. I will also be needing a place for my 1.5 year old son to ride in his car seat, and I am just not sure about him riding back there on the rear facing jump seat. I may have to modify it or install another seat...
