I just took off a set with 46k on them because I ripped a sidewall at uhwarrie. The spare was still new, so I bought 3 more new ones and kept two of the old ones for spares. They still look good with about 40% tread remaining, just a little loud on the road.

Scott, Great video clip from moab! At the 20 sec mark its clear that the rear diff is unlocked. Did you ever get that sorted out from ARB? Were you using the front diff lock on that climb? I am seriously considering an ARB locker for my LR3 - any suggestions?

There is actually a single fat metal cylinder length wise and 3 plastic covered cylinders transverse in that pic. No clue what any of them are for, but they seem to be connected.

Even though ford hasn't owned land rover for a few years, I bet this design was already in the works. Ford was just the first to market with it. Ford took a lot of their current designs from Jag, Land Rover, and Aston Martin.

I had AT2s on an xterra and LR3. Both were great experiences in everything on and off road including snow and ice.

Mack that's an awesome diagram and very helpful. Do you have the full listing of the other components? What is 21? My 2006 LR3 has what looks like a couple air tanks above the spare tire.
