Was able to confirm today that my 660 griz will fit in the back, with the ability to ride it in and out. I was a bit concerned with the door height being a bit to low but it was plenty of room...
Those are sweet! I have also thought about going with the single rear and lifting a bit more, but I have made mine inside bed with the ability to fold completely flush on the wall so I could fit my full size atv, so not sure if i will lift it up or not??
Looking good! I have also been thinking about doing the turbo set up, but mine having such low miles I am not sure I want to mess with the originality. I am currently looking for some good front buckets or captains to replace the crap ones that are currently in there.
Did you buy your banks...
That is the exact same as mine! I love that ours have the large double doors on the back... the lack of power is a bummer, we may never win any races but we will always get there!
Pic of the sunken tie downs:
Kinda how it looks now:
Bed folded down:
also installed a console in the cab with a computer mount
My goal with the truck is to make is super reliable, very comfortable, and able to be lived in for extended periods of time. I have already installed and air...

I would like to introduce my latest project, as the Title says.. The "U.A.W" (Ultimate adventure Wagon) or the "Adventure-Lance." I have posted several pictures various places, but as I have been doing a bit of work to it I figured I would go ahead and do a "Build" thread. I say...
Been watching this one on CL for some time now! I almost made the call several times! Glad to see it went to someone on here... I had an 01 E350 quigley and loved every second of it. Im now working on an f350 ambo. Good luck!
Thanks this is actually my second ambo. I had a 2002 E350 4x4 Quigley I did make a few posts about it on here, the longest was the "NO Plan is the Plan" thread of me traveling around with no particular place to go out west. I also did a 2004 Diesel Excursion that was a fire truck "Chiefs Unit"...
Thanks, from what I understand it was never used as an actual ambulance. It was a military unit on base in Wisconsin for some time and then used by the local PD at the airport for a tactical vehicle/back up unit. It was always kept inside and NO rust which is nuts for that area.
Just got back from Wisconsin to VA picking up my latest project! 1992 F-350 7.3 idi 4x4 with 32k original miles! its a Wheeled Coach and did the 1k mile trip flawlessly. I plan to make it more comfortable, powerful, but I think its a good place to start!
.....Any of you IDI wonders out...
Bilstein 5100's all around, with a new steering stabilizer will make a world of difference. I did the same for my 2001 E350 quigley and it was like a new truck after..
If you havent already, I would get the Cold Start Kit from archoil.. Really good stuff and designed to help just that. I use it in both my 7.3 and my 6.0 worked well.
