Cherokee Trailhawk vs. Grand Cherokee Laredo

I would take the Grand anyday over the Cherokee, but I am also a little biased. If money were no object, I would take the Grand with the CRD. The Grand is a much more refined roomy vehicle in my opinion, not that its worth much:) But anyway, I think that you will do well either way so good...

Tire Review: Hercules Terra Trac AT2

Thanks for the quick response and the close up pics. I am in the market for new rubber and these present another great option. They look super, are made in the States, and at 40lbs are significantly lighter than the other options that I was considering. Thanks again.

SSF556 Build Up - 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD

Scootr, Like the new pinstriping that you added. Really compliments the jeep. Seriously though, I have enjoyed reading through your build several times and it is really tempting to upgrade from my WJ to a WK CRD. A question for you; what type of mileage figures do you consistently see from...

Tire Review: Hercules Terra Trac AT2

They look great. Two questions; what do they measure out at height wise and how much do you think they weigh? Thanks in advance.

Emerson, That's a great looking WJ you got there. Love that color and the newer Grand takeoffs look awesome on it. What lift did you use on there?

Manual locking hubs....any difference in MPG?

^^^^^^^ IMHO, Not worth what it will cost you to put in your d30; assuming that's what you have.

Show us your 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ

Here is mine; nothing too crazy-specs in sig, but gets me where I want to go. I love my WJ and yeah I have yet to see another lifted one down here in my neck of the woods. It is a shame though, they make great rigs...

    Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx

An interesting note... I stopped by my local Discount Tire this am to get a look at the ST Maxx vs the BFG KO. Even if they didn't have my size, I wanted to take a look at the tread in person. The very nice gentleman assisting told me they did not have the Maxx in stock and that searching the...

    Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx

I have been looking at a set of these for my WJ as I want to ditch my BFG KM2- The PO installed them and I honestly don't need that much tire. I am looking at the 235 85 16 flavor, I currently run a 245 75 16. I have looked at many many threads, reviews, posts, etc about tires. My eyes hurt...

Dilemma of which to KEEP.... Wrangler or Grand Cherokee

Grand Cherokee; for some of the reasons listed already: More cargo room, larger tow capacity, nicer interior, probably better mpg, but also I maybe just a little biased, lol.

F450 DRW to SRW, rear track width ?

A lot will depend on what size tire you run in the rear. Many big rigs are now ditching the dual setups for a wider single in the rear. I don't believe though that you should expect to run the same size tires front and back, sorry. just my .02.

Advice needed: Custom Skid Plates for 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara (US Spec)

Should be fairly easy. You can use cardboard to mock up what you want and then take it to a metal shop and have them cut it out. If you can get scrap steel that they have left over from another job, it would be even cheaper. Any decent shop should even be able to drill /cut you mounting holes...
