If you do go through the process of putting the old body on something new I would be most excited to see you slap the body ontop of an 80 series land cruiser frame and running gear. It wouldn't be so far removed from its legacy
it would be too cool for it to be totally restored to original condition, however - failing that placing the body ontop of a modern platform would be also another great option.

as far as your locker is concerned, use your ATRAC and a left foot on the brake pedal. you'd be surprised what the computer can drum up
from the amount of time i spent researching 4th gens before i bought my 5th, i think if you're wiling to spend a little more and do a little bit more work in the end - finding a good Limited with the v8 and removing the XREAS would be the best setup you could do. the v6 is a great motor...
I have the camburgs on my 5th and they're great. Never bothered to get an alignment after I put my OMEs in. I also have the moog joints. Solid as can be
