The coil over idea is not a bad one. But I think it will be cost prohibitive. Let's say for the sake of argument.
A cheep coil over is around $400 each $1200
Then some sort of adapter brackets to make it work. $450. "Using the RTE D1 shock conversion kit for a price guess"
And then we still...
That has nothing to do with my comment, nor do I think we are competitors to AB on any real level. You maybe surprised at how small the Rover world is between vendors.
Can you please explain how you have come to that conclusion?
I'm very leery about that conversion. No disrespect meant for AB but do you think they went out of their way to make sure that all the off Road functions were operating at there best? Or did they make it work knowing that 99% of these kids would go to the daily driver mall crowd?
This could work in theory but you will lose the solid axle feature of the air system. That is the main reason I am sticking with the air system let alone the integrated terrain response functions.
