    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Thanks guys! Thanks Matt. Hows the pickup coming along? You on track to have it ready for June?! We should sit down over a beer real soon and put some dates down for a couple weekend trips this summer. haha no kidding! Love the double cab, I probably wouldn't have to remove the seats if I...

Will 5th Gen 4Runner TRD Wheel Center Caps fit 2016 Trail Wheels?

Sorry I may have been confusing when I said 16' wheels. I meant 2016 wheels not 16" wheels. haha I'd just pop off the center cap and have a look. I can take a photo of the back of my TRD Pro center caps and get a diameter measurement if you need also to compare.

Orange Crush - My 3rd Gen Tacoma Build

That tent is wicked. Probably so spacious inside! Totally didn't dawn on me until now that you sold the 100. You probably have it mentioned somewhere but curious why you made the switch? I'll be interested to hear your feedback comparing the two platforms (although completely different) once...

Will 5th Gen 4Runner TRD Wheel Center Caps fit 2016 Trail Wheels?

Do your 16' wheels use the metal ring-type retained for the OEM center caps? I have a set of the TRD ones and they use a small metal ring to apply pressure to secure the wheel. I would think they should fit but I'm betting if your 16' wheels use the same securing method, the TRD ones should work?

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Thanks! Pretty good way to really utilize the space, the factory A/C rear seats are a joke. If you don't need the seats, this is so useful! In terms of functional mods, this setup will pay for itself 100x over when I'm out camping. Being organized makes everything about camping out of your...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Sounds good! A front bumper is on the near horizon. Just trying to decide to go with Dissent Offroad (Benc) or custom. The project from Portland is pretty unique - i've certainly never seen a truck with one before but as a startup, they really haven't marketed much yet. If I end up working with...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Thanks Jeremiah! Yah it's one of those things you really don't want to think about happening, but should definitely be considered. I sub it in the head would suck. haha PS, meant to comment on your rig in the "post your photos thread". Glad you've been getting out and using the truck already...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Yah I was more doing a memory dump! haha Should have it all back together tomorrow. Sorry for the cell phone pics but here are a couple of the backside from today before we rough mounted it again. Inside the rear wall (backside) - gives you an idea of some of the new items. Switch to flip the...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

UPDATE I went on a mission to get an inverter installed behind the rear wall of my storage setup. I had to remove the whole system to wire it in. One thing lead to another and my whole storage setup is basically being revamped. Much thanks to my good friend Dave for his efforts as he continues...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

So far I'm actually really happy with the mid travel, last time i checked I cycled over 10" in the front. For my uses the extra 2.5" of travel isn''t worth the jump in price as well as the increased maintenance levels with an LT truck. Rear seat room in the AC is basically useless IMO. 4Runner...

    COOPER DISCOVERER - Colossal B.C.

Part IV I tempted fate first lurching down into the washout. I swung high before dropping in, to help keep me in check when the truck would become unsettled. Previous users of the trail had built a small shelf of rock to help balance the effects of gravity and keep the vehicle more level once...

    COOPER DISCOVERER - Colossal B.C.

Part III It was approximately 11:00 when the sound of the first motor hummed to life. One by one, the vehicles came alive as each unit in our group completed loading up all of their respective gear. A final check over the cabin to ensure we left it in a respectable state with all windows and...

    COOPER DISCOVERER - Colossal B.C.

Part II Despite this being our first time on this road, we had been expecting this daunting obstacle. Hours earlier a new 1-tonne Dodge Ram had passed by and the driver had warned us of the impassible route up ahead. There we stood in front of nature’s barrier. I stepped out of the truck to...

Cooper Discoverer Writing Contest Grand Prize Qualifying Trip Suggestion Thread

I'd like to see a Canadian option. The most well known suggestion (outside of stuff up in the Yukon) would probably be Whipsaw Trail in BC.

I know you said you are so invested in Photobucket already.... but it sounds like it seriously might be worth the effort to switch. As a photographer, a free flickr account is what I recommend.
