I'd need eye to pin end. Still debating on what to do with the rear and the 10" Fox's I have under there now are doing the trick for now. Thanks though!
I agree. I have HUGE respect for the 80 series but having owned a couple pre-tacoma trucks, a couple 3rd Gen 4Runners (one fully built), a fully built LX450, and my 1st Gen Tundra, the 80 did many things great but sure wasn't my favorite of the bunch. Perspective based on personal use and...
I'm going to have to do some digging on that. I will have to check through my notes and see if I ever wrote down what I figured I was getting for travel before. I only recently found this good "flex ramp". I can tell you though that right now the shackle/leafs are the current limitations in...
Doesn't the GX share the same front end components with the 2nd gen Tacoma? I know guys running 37s on their Tacoma's (I am presuming the same or very similar CV's and TRE's) and they have had decent success. I know one of my friends has grenades a couple CVs and maybe one front diff but he...
It's been a while Doug.
The sun has been shining and I have been turning wrenches. Thought today was a good day to stretch the legs.

Truck is basically bumped perfectly on all 4 corners right now. Just...
Looks like a deadly DV trip. Just went to your 120 build thread and saw you are heading my way this June. Let me know if you'd like to see some cool trails/spots in the Rockies while your here!
The fjz80 wheels are the strongest Toyota wheel ever manufactured (read that somewhere when researching when I put them on my old 4runner). They are drop forged, fairly light, and look excellent! Very cool and stoked to see them on the T100. They are 4.5" BS with 0mm offset. The perfect setup...
Truth. High speed performance only matters if that is your use. Too many variables in the equation to say "this is the best setup".
I actually like the small wheel, big tire look. 16's are a good size but there is definitely more options overall in a 17. I dont ever plan on changing my tire...
Very cool! Those corner lights can be a b**ch to get the lenses off. Did you 3d print that little red seat for the LEDs?
The LS460 projectors are insane. Although for the effort involved, the morimoto mini h1 has been improved leaps and bounds. Not sure what you have in there now? What areas of...
Still thinking about it for sure... Just need to decide if I should jump up to a 17" wheel. Or just have some new F5s sent to OMF and keep my current rubber. I'm always back and forth on this. If I got to a 17 I'll probably go with a Toyo RT or ST Maxx to shave some lbs.
The Retrofit Source...
Wow that's wicked regarding the 4th gen sport brakes. Having just picked up a 08' Sport Edition, I have been admiring it's stopping prowess compared to my Tundra. This brake upgrade might be in my near future as my Tundra brakes are getting tired. Please post more info on the booster setup as well.
Cool Ben! I keep an eye on your land cruiser products as well and it seems your a big player in that market. I'm glad it's all working out for you and enabling you to make a job of it! Very cool.
Not sure if anyone has asked this, but any plans to offer your bumper in aluminum?
Awesome Scotty! Glad your embracing the Tundra ways. Can't wait to see the bumper on your Sequoia on the Tundra and also a rear bumper option for us Tundra guys. High clearance please!!! haha
No worries I wouldnt pull them off to measure them either!
I just find it rather comical they won't share extended and compressed lengths as anyone anywhere can measure this and for most people it's a needed number prior to ordering. Valving is maybe a different story if they don't want to...
Did you order straight from Alcan? Do they already have this setup off the shelf or is it the first time they have built these? I might be willing to jump also... excited to see hear more.
