Pronghorn Tacoma bumper: This looks interesting!

Well no surprise, it looks just as terrible as the bumper they built for the JK. Too bad.

1997 Toyota Land Cruiser FZ80 Collectors Edition with locker - in ExPo White!

Bump for a really clean looking rig! Great base rig for a mild expo build. I always get tempted by clean cruisers like this when I get sick of making car payments.

spray liner OVER sound matting (like Dynamat)

Is the foil backing thick enough to scuff it up?

spray liner OVER sound matting (like Dynamat)

I'm curious too. I'm selling my jeep but had an idea about doing this before as well. I always figured if the spray in liner was flexible it might work okay.

    Steering Stabilizers. What's good?

Technically the JK can still get a little bump steer even with the drag link flip and relocated track bar brackets. Though normally it is minimal to none. Reason is, the track bar and drag link are not the same lengths. So when they are level nothing is noticeable. But if you were really...

    My new unlimited rear windows

I like it! The lack of side rear windows is a complete non issue.

Reid Racing, Inc. JK Knuckles Write-Up

I believe the lugnut spec is usually shown as a range. With lug centric wheels I keep it on the high end of the range personally.

    Steering Stabilizers. What's good?

Why do you NEED this? If you're trying to fix death wobble, please address the underlying problem instead of masking a bigger problem. I see so many people wasting money doing this. The jeep should be able to drive without a steering damper at all if everything is in good working order. I...

Reid Racing, Inc. JK Knuckles Write-Up

Nice write up! I wanted these for a while too, and finally installed them with my new teraflex housing. I didn't have any complaints with the factory knuckles (drilled for drag link flip) but I wanted to keep the old axle complete, and I'm always looking for a reason to upgrade and improve...

    Habitat Owner's Thread

Where was it leaking? My j30 sits outside 100% of the time in the Pacific Northwest. All it does here is rain...? Not a drop inside or mold anywhere. It stays parked 16 days at a time in my driveway when I'm at work too. Does the habitat hinge not have adjustment to snug down the front or...

2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited - Ursa Minor J30 Pop Up Camper - Fully Built!!!

Bumping this back to the top. The jeep is at the hospital with us as we're staying in the NICU. I've had a few calls so I'm just making this easier to find.

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

Yes! Camping in Utah with the j30 were hands down the best camping days we've had as well. We bought a really thick two person sleeping bag, and use one half of it laid underneath us. Big improvement in comfort. Although like your setup, getting up and down with two people can be tricky.

2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited - Ursa Minor J30 Pop Up Camper - Fully Built!!!

Yeah I'm aware that the financing is a problem, and expected it to take a while for the right buyer to come along (one with cash). I hadn't considered consignment but maybe it's worth looking into? I get a lot of interest but few people have $15-20k sitting around to make it happen. Hopefully...

2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited - Ursa Minor J30 Pop Up Camper - Fully Built!!!

Latest update: Multiple emergency trips home from Louisiana with the wife in early labor. Many hospital stays, many days work missed. I JUST got into Louisiana for 16 days of work and the wife called, her water broke. She is still 6 weeks early. Last minute ticket home purchased (1200 for...

who is taking the rear seat out of a jku

I've taken the 40 side out on trips for comfortable standing/changing room in the j30 top. Also helps with more storage space on long trips.

2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited - Ursa Minor J30 Pop Up Camper - Fully Built!!!

Thanks Mike! Things are touch and go, as usual I guess. Checked into labor and delivery for a few hours yesterday and sent back home. Hopefully she'll go a few more weeks... This afternoon I had some spare time. I flushed the differential gear oils, wear patterns on both axles look great as...

Here is a test of AWD and 4WD.

I had one of those 2008 Subaru Legacy GTs (2.5l turbo, manual trans and rear limited slip). The car was a real blast in the snow, got around very well. Too bad the car was a POS in general, full of squeaks and rattles and electrical problems, failing clear coat etc. I don't know why this is...

My First Week Exploring Utah, 4/12-4/19 2014

Looks like a great trip! I had a blast out there last summer, but probably won't get back until 2015. I carried a bunch of extra hardware, though I only had it from swapping suspension/steering parts and upgrading the factory bolts. Still a very odd thing to break!

Edmunds reviews the Grand Cherokee with Ecodiesel

Unfortunately you can probably blame that largely on the EPA tightening diesel emissions. The older VW 1.9 tdi often gets better mileage than the new 2.0 tdi. The 2.0l is more powerful and much cleaner burning, but suffers mileage loss from the DPF. I'm sure the jeep diesel is no different...
