Yep I have 6 of them work pretty good and Racoon tested. I did crack the lid on one over packing it and forcing the lid on but they work pretty good. I noticed last summer they had a smaller size too.
Funny enough I had a Panda in Spain at first I thought it would suck. But even a VW golf couldn’t go half the places I took the Panda. However I think he has kids which case Unless he puts a trailer behind the Panda its not going to work for him.
Most are probably leased so dealers by design will avoid tow packages and off road gear. Leased vehicles are best kept in street tires and left in grocery and wine tour trim.
My buddy with the scamp did a yr trip ysing the V6 Rav4 with rear airbag system. He said with two people and staying light they were fine. But his recent trip with the first kid and assorted junk made it Very clear he needed to get a higher load rated vehicle probably in a couple of yrs. He is...
There is always the lowly Champ too. My buddy and his wife plus 10mo old just got back from 3 week boonie dry camping with theirs. Prior to that they did a yr traveling the US with it. BK Before kid... One kid is easy, 2 kids is 2x as challenging lol
All my RV buddies tell me all of them are junk so just suck it up. Lol

The locals getting targeted now is a big part of my neighbors nixing their trip. Plus family there also don’t want them visiting and draw attention their way. Most family that visit from the “North” bring money down for family in the “South” so avoiding the perception of cash infusion
You mean like the cheap Craigslist Mini van my SD buddy ran down Baja for 15yrs hitting his favorite surf spots? Yeah even the mini vans can do it plus as he put it never got gringo taxed either. Rover LOL might as well wrap it in a US $50 dollar bill scheme they’ll love ya down there. Couple of...
Lol yeah I predict a huge glut of trailers on Craigslist by February after all these newbs realize there aren’t any rv parking lots available.
I’m headed to families private property end of next week camping out then day trips to Yosemite
The Nano and the Eco and the Baja are all more or less the same different packaging and big price differences. I’ve ben eyeing the same stuff over this past yr only my deal is size not tow rig given my tow rig is max rated at 9300lbs with 400hp. I want to still fit / sneak into tent sites when...
My 07 Sequoia vs my 2019 Expedition they are nearly identical front to back. Expedition is wider but can pull a Uturn nearly as well as my Subaru. The Sequoia not so much
I recall one of the auto commercials played on the “Man that guy is going camping” given the vehicle had every conceivable toy strapped to it add. I feel like this trend is more look at me rather than actually getting out there. LoL
I’m the opposite I load up my junk behind a closed garage door...
