    100 series water tanks

The 105 is very similar to the 80 series. The IFS 100 series has wider frame rails so less room for such a water tank. You can order the Long Ranger tanks directly from the company or that is what they told me the last time I talked to them. Cost is high and getting higher as the dollar gets...

    100 series water tanks

TJM also makes plastic food grade ones that hold 20L each side. Long Ranger makes a 122 L aux fuel tank/55L water tank for the rear where the spare tire goes. This would be my choice. Stainless steel sliders/water tanks... that could be slick!

Carbon Fiber hood? (For weight not bling)

But your race hoods are likely much larger than a Tacoma hood. You also probably use 4 hood pins, right? Could a non-reinforced fiberglass hood work long term with the OEM hinges and locking latch? On a vehicle that sees washboard/corrugated roads?

Carbon Fiber hood? (For weight not bling)

In my experience, a fiberglass hood would not be significantly lighter since it will need a metal frame anyway. So it's added cost with no benefit plus the drawbacks of fiberglass. The only reason to do it in fiberglass is to change the style.

Carbon Fiber hood? (For weight not bling)

I have not seen any that were near OEM quality but I'm sure they're out there... for a price.

Kermit has the Campmate Kitchen and it's been discontinued for about a year now. Your best bet of finding one would be eBay or Craigslist.

    Feedback on an FJ80

Ah, I knew it had to be a Toyota from the 80's because of the digital dash. jh504, personally I'd opt for the 93+. I've never driven the 3FE motor but my 97 FZJ80 was barely tolerable as it was. And if you are looking to add lockers, you'll definitely spend more $$$ on adding ARB's to the FJ80...

    D- vs. E-rated BFGoodrich A/T KO

madizell, Thanks for taking the time to write all that. It is definitely something for me to think about. I will have to weigh my rig and check its weight balance. I can only guess it's about 7500 lbs loaded with a little more bias to the rear. mauricio_28, I just read your Pirelli Scorpion...

    D- vs. E-rated BFGoodrich A/T KO

madizell, my E load Toyo MT's at 45psi are not comfortable but at 35-38psi, it is fine. So, actually, I am hoping you are correct. But did you look at the Nitto link: http://www.nittotire.com/assets/safety/Replacing%20Tires%20on%20Light%20Trucks.pdf#search=%22p-metric%20lt%20load%20range%22...

    D- vs. E-rated BFGoodrich A/T KO

Keep in mind about using LT tires over P-metric, you will need to increase your tire's air pressure for the same load, i.e. a P-metric tire might require 35 psi at 2500 lbs load while an LT tire could require 45 psi. So, your ride will get more harsh. Running a lower tire pressure on an LT tire...

    I love big kid puzzles!

I have not seen the 4x4labs tire carrier up close. Can somebody explain the design of the latch system? Do the two swing carriers just latch together and that keeps it closed? Where are the stops to prevent the carriers from hitting the hatch, the gas shocks? Are the inside ends of the swing arm...
