4th gens have been really growing on me as of late, and your build is facilitating that pattern. Your build seems very functional and well thought out. Good job!
What is the length on your LED bar - 22"? That thing puts out some serious candlepower.
Thanks a lot! The 3rd gen 4Runner is an awesome platform to get into. I seem to do a bit of everything offroad - expo/camping, backroads exploring, and even a little of the technical stuff and the truck has done great! Underpowered with 33's.... but that's my only gripe, time to save for a S/C.
Interesting. But I guess they do seem pretty busy with all of their other bumper lines. Either way, they look so good on your Cruiser, and they are even cooler knowing that your the only one running them!
Nice pictures! I look forward to moar of them!
The CBI bumpers came out awesome for your cruiser, I'll be interested to see if they start sellling/promoting them a little more in the Cruiser community?
It seems like you're ready to head out and bash the rocks! The Lil Skips skid finishes it off nicely..... Further motivation for myself to follow your path with that and toss the cheesy OEM tank skid.
Continuing from the post before.... a few pics of our wheeling trip a couple weeks ago:

A few updates and some pics from my most recent run to follow:
I have installed my ODL bumper. If you've been following my build at all, I was contemplating a few options but I am very happy with the result. I went with ODL, no hoops, limited width version (more protection) and their satin...
Wow, I never would have believed the suspension would articulate to that point without breaking. Glad your ok and the truck is too.
On a side note - you may have accidentally clearance your firewall for 35"' tires.
Wow, nice shot m3bassman! Nice 1st gen!
A couple of my own from the weekend:

Hey Glenn!
Thanks for the interest in my thread. I only wish the diesel hilux was more abundant in my neck of the woods. Feel free to ask as many questions as you can and I can try and help! Cheers
LOL
No problem! Glad to share em'. I feel deprived, I have been camping in the truck for the past 3 weekends in a row. This weekend I went throgh withdrawals because I stayed home and was "productive."
Are you joining up for the CT4WD "Hole in the Rock Trail" in 2013?? Count me in for that and CM13, the truck is almost ready.
Speaking of the truck, here are some more updates.
The new CBI all mounted up:

Thanks Tim! The pics were taking in the Crowsnest Pass Alberta for the June CT4WD trail-run.
By the way, where have you been and how are you doing? It seems I haven't seen any funny sarcastic remarks lately from our favorite Southerner!
