    Large Winter Tires

Michelin X-Ice Bridgstone blizzacks and similer tread by other company. No stud, but soft coumpound with snowflake logo. Works great on snow and ice, but do not used them in late spring and summer, they will melt and ruin them for the following winter. But I do not know about available size...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Sadly installed the hard top. It was this time of year again when the soft top was on more than it was off. To to me, back to hard top before the snow falls in. Soon, the snow plow will also be install and if mother nature does her thing, then 25 feet of snow until next april. :)

Nice pic. Curious, oh large is the watershed of that river. Just wonder if you could have got surprised by flash flod w/o knowing about it if heavy rain would have it higher in the valley.

    Emergency Tire Pump: Manual Options

If you really want to go manual, a stand up bike pump would do fine. Those are made to pump past 100 lbs. They can last for a life time if kept clean. You can find fairly high volume pump. They will not be that good to reset a beed, cause you need more cfm, but to re-inflate a down tire...

Half way through my trailer 6' slider build - seeking advice

Nice. Go with pop rivets. Simple and efficient. Or shallow t-nut and mechanical screws. I did the rivet for my entire assembly but mine in only 32'' but orr and orr as well. I only used strips of 1/8 aluminium instead of full bottom. And very sturdy so far, more than 2 years later.

I forgot to mentionned that my RTT is on a trailer. I have a TJ wrangler, and did not want to go with a roof rack, I drive as much as I can w/o soft top in summer and a roof rack makes that hard to do and also the braking up camp for a quick ride around for a day is not good with me. A trailer...

RTT to ground tent any regrets or vice versa

I will pitch in, but for different reason. I went like pretty much every body from ground to RTT. Never regretted it for vehicule traveling. I love the fact that sleeping bags and pillows would remaine in the RTT. And no matter what, putting a RTT (soft one here) away wet, is still better...

You will only find regular and diesel in many parts of quebec. Near the cities, no problems, but when you head north of the province, or in small villages that only have 1 gas station with low density population, you will likely only find 87 and diesel. But all of them should have octane...
