Starting odometer and ending odometer after my trip. So, I drove 6,147 miles on this my 20 days road trip. As for gas, I need to figure it out, but I put some very heavy 35s Yokohama mud tires on my suv which comes with 33s stock tires that are quite lighter. The heavy tires truly affected my...
I believe that on the forums we all learn everyday. So, it is very ok that you pointed that out. We all learn from each other on here, so I truly do not mind you pointing that out at all. Besides, I truly appreciate you reading my trip report and commenting contributing by posting. It makes it...
Glad to know you have enjoyed reading my trip report. It is good to know you have gotten some ideas from mine and will do a similar road trip.
Moab is a great destination. Definitely add it on your itinerary if you are going to Ouray also.
Thanks for pointing out about the link to my 2018 trip...
Thanks for the compliment. It is truly nice to know that people do take time out of their busy schedule to read one's trip report. It makes it worthwhile sharing.
Lol, but you know I have to disagree about coasting in neutral that it hurts the engine and tranny.
In Europe, before cars were...

Bell Rock and Court house Butte
Cathedral Rock
Chapel of the Holy Cross
Best place I stayed at on this trip.
Bought a memorable piece of Najavo jewelry at this store on what they refer to in Sedona as Sedona's Las Vegas Strip.
I spent 2 days in Sedona and it was truly life changing. Besides the tons of foreigners I talked to, it gave me a different perspective on certain things in life. The pics below will help me remember everything very well.
This has been an amazing trip full of amazing experiences. It is amazing where a journey can take you and the kind of people you can meet along the way that can suddenly become part of your life forever or have a positive impact on your life.
Tortilla Flat.
This is where paved road turns into unpaved road and this is where the road is closed and you cannot go beyond this point. It is 22 miles of dirt road from this point to Roosevelt Dam with some very tight switchbacks along the way and great scenic views.
Too bad the fire made...
I didn't ask if these were real tombstones. There were about 8 in total. I took pics of these because they were funny to me.
This is what I could read from each Tombstone. I hope I read it right. If wrong, feel free to please correct me.
Her, cold as usual.
Him, stiff atlast.
Here lies...
Today was a pretty productive day as I went to do the whole of the Apache Trail. The fire has bee put put, but the 22 miles of dirt road from Tortilla Flat to Roosevelt Dam is still closed.
I started from Apache Junction and stopped at all the little attractions along the way up to Tortila...
Lol, you are funny. Thanks a lot for taking the time to look at my trip report. I will definitely put up those pics. Give me before midnight tonight.
I took over 100, if not 200, pictures at the park. Then I realized almost all that were of nature looks exactly the same. Then it was hard for...
Thanks a lot for the compliment about the pictures. I really try to take very good pictures, though I wish I was better at post processing like some others I see.
My drone/camera setup.
I use my over 2 years old Samsung S8+ and my DJI Mavic 2 Pro for my pictures. Then for videos, I use my...
In a sudden change of events, I decided to go back to Arizona. I have plans to visit the Apache Trail that I missed and also to visit Sedona. On this long drive today, I had to make time to stop at Shiprock Rock Formation in Shiprock, NM.
You can barely see my SUV next to this humongous...
Rocky Mountain National Park
The traffic in this park is very heavy. I visited during the week and it was still very busy. They told me that on the weekends the traffic is worse. If you get in through the Estes Park entrance, there is a dirt road that is 12 miles long and very scenic. Any type...
Yesterday was a super busy day. I went and spent the whole day drivong at Rocky Mountain National Park. On my way there, I used a scenic route that has this church on it. It is a historic site and it was built in 1927 and the Pope has even visited it. A very small church built on rocks.
I asked...
Thanks for the kind words. And thanks for taking the time to read my road trip.
The drone pictures truly gives a different perspective. I enjoy the views I get when I am flying, even when not taking pics yet. Bit looking at some things from a different perspective is truly nice. And when some...
Wow. Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this and reviving my road trip of 2 years ago. That was and is still my best road trip ever.
Had the most fun and saw the most natural things that had me saying wow too much.
Definitely worth a visit from some of us in the US who can make time to...
