Nice road trip.
Wondering about what you said there about 220 mile range. Is that what your full tank of gas on your Tacoma gives you? Only 220 miles? Why is that? How many miles per gallon?
Just curious since it looks a bit low. Well, I am kind of seeing that recently on my QX since I just...
Nice trip and pictures. I will be doing almost EXACTLY the same trip in about a months time. It will be a 2 weeks trip from TX, NM, AZ, UT, CO. I will doing some offroading in Ouray and Telluride in Collorado.
Are you going to go to Ouray and or Telluride?
if you go that way, try to go...
Wow. Thanks for those details. Lord, that was some expense on gas. My longest road trip was about 9,000 miles and I spent about $1,650 on gas in a gas guzzler too. I know I would hate to be stranded like some of those guys you mentioned and have to wait for parts.
This is a link to my longest...
Wow. Amazing trip. Got to finish reading that after I clear some work from my desk here at work, lol.
Approximately how much did you spend on gas on this whole trip? If you do not mind sharing.
Amazing build. That is a masterpiece. I knew with a build and admiration like this, many people would ask you to build one for them at a cost, for sure.
But your response is truly a great one.
Great response. When you are doing something for you, you are usually very meticulous and do not...
Wow. Amazing road trip and pictures. Loved it!!! Are you in Houston? I am in South Houston.
What camera did you use to take these pictures? What app did you use to edit these pictures?
We should have! Yeah, I think I could finish that steak in an hour, though I have to really get myself hungry first.
It would have been great to meet you again for sure. Too bad our timings were too different.
I ended up having to get home for some work deadline that was adjusted while I was...
I ended my day in Ouray a day earlier since I had had enough offroading with my car and was ready for a new destination.
So, I left Ouray yesterday for Albuquerque. I used a scenic route going through Durango, Pagosa Springs, CO and Santa Fe, NM to finally end in Albuquerque. Pagosa Springs is...
The trip has been a blast so far. Thanks for taking the time to read it and see the pictures.
Yeah, I was surprised at some of the cars I saw at Birdal Veil Falls. Have you by chance been on that road?
There are 2 parts to it.
The bottom area is below the waterfalls. That is actually the...
Today was a busy day on the trail. My Infiniti surprised me with its performance and did remarkably. Left hotel at 6am, returned at 6pm with over 7 hours of trail driving today.

Today, left Moab, UT and drove 3 hours to Telluride. Got there and aired down and went straight on Black Bear Pass to climb up to Bridal Veil Falls. I was so impressed by the tons of stock vehicles I met up at Bridal Veils and all with stock street tires not aired down at all. They all defied...
Before offroading, I stopped by the park to visit the visitor center and plan for my trip again there today.
Today, I mustered enough strength and energy to do the longest hike I have ever done at a national park. A 3 miles round trip which took me a total of 2 hours 40 minutes, including the...
Yesterday, I made it to Moab early enough and checked into my hotel. Went to get some food and realized it was the first day of the launching of the Moab Food truck Park.
I was too early at the park since it was due to open in about an hour, so I went away and returned 2 hours later.
The place...
Today before leaving Capitol Reef NP, I went down a scenic tight dirt road on a scenic drive in the park. When I was driving out, I met this french family in a rented RV thinking would make it down the road.
The man stopped me and asked how bad the road was as they were already taking a beating...
