I totaled a rental Chevy Colorado several years ago. No injuries, slid off the highway on glare ice into a pole. It was a sucky experience. I did have a rider on my personal insurance for the rental (in those days I was renting a vehicle almost weekly for work) which saved me a bunch of $$...
It would be the liability / personal injury portion of the insurance I'd worry about most. Paying for a damaged vehicle is one thing, paying for a damaged person is in a completely other ballpark. I'm sure the litigators would have fun.
cell phone, its a rental. Besides, are you even allowed to be off-road in a rental? What about insurance? A lot of rental agreements prohibit even driving on gravel roads/
I down sized. All my kitchen gear (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, pot & pan etc for 4 people) fits in a medium HD Rigid box, I carry a single burner butane Gas One in the plastic box it came in.
Interesting! I do have a real FT-2900R new in box that I bought 6 or 7 years ago that is sitting on a shelf if you are interested in it, I would surely part with it. Was going to put it in my old '92, but ended up selling it before the radio was installed.
I had the first generation WildPeaks on my '05 and thought they were very loud. But these AT3 are much different. I have the milder version Falken Wildpeak AT Trail on my '14 Outlander and they are fantastic. Very quiet and great traction. Lots of progress over the years at Falken.
Well they are 35 years old +/- and only around 70k total of them were imported to USA across all model years including Raider and Montero name plates. Not many left on the road, and with that small of a number, aftermarket is very limited unless the part is used across several vehicle models...
