    AR: DPMS or Del-Ton?

Building your own is the way to go. I've assembled a handful of lowers, 2 of them for myself. Then I added a complete upper. I think I have the most fun shooting my short, simple, lightweight AR (top one). JD lower, DD parts kit, DD upper with 14.5" lightweight barrel, midlength gas system...

Eezi-awn 1600 Series II Roof Top Tent

Wow doc, now that is retro expo!!! Nice write up however that wasn't my wife - it was my sister. Yuck haha Hey Fred, the tent will hold you guys just fine. The tent itself distributes the load well but the ladder is definitely necessary. The wood floor has about a 2x1 wood perimiter. Also...

Eezi-awn 1600 Series II Roof Top Tent

More pics added. Make me an offer... Looks like I can fix the pin for the ladder - just need to find a metal hanger or a dental pick to grab the spring within the tube. I have all the rods for opening the windows and they all function well.

Snow Peak Double Wall Titanium mug

My thermos actually comes apart in three pieces and cleans fine for me. No coffee aftertastes. As mentioned before I agree this is a great mug for hiking for its light weight and portability. I would actually like to purchase this mug again for moto travel - something I just started doing...

Snow Peak Double Wall Titanium mug

I bought the sp double wall mug and ended up exchanging it for this. I agree the sp mug is great for backpackers and moto travel but for vehicle camping I think there are better options. It is very robust, packs well and looks beautiful. I don't have hard data because I didn't have a...

    Pictures of Expedition Motorcycles

If you look closely the motard actually has a flat. It happened to be only the first flat of the weekend. It was due to hitting a rut that popped out on us at 50mph :Wow1: We replaced the 17" tube with our spare 21" tube. Got over 200 miles out of it the rest of the weekend. On our last...
