Probably. If you think of the old Scout you don't really think of the heavy trucks (although they robbed a lot of parts out of them for their smaller vehicles) and you darn sure don't think of VW. At one time Ford was threatening to spin Bronco off to almost be its own brand.

Payload is kind of a mixed message, midsize is on par with a great many fullsize trucks and even the older Ranger's going back to '83. You can get heavier payload F-150's but they do make the frame heavier/stronger too.

Ranger frame has nothing in common with the F-150. Material type and thickness maybe but design wise they are totally different.

Made that one awhile ago lol. It's a lot of fun basically designing your truck, each trip gives me new experiences/testing to hone it into a even better truck.
