Etorque became standard in the last couple years of the hemi.
Dust intrusion is like where your cab fills full of dirt when you drive on unpaved roads. Very strange, I have no idea what their problem is. My old F-150 with no cab corners and the sills rotted off the bottom of the doors stayed...
It would be fun to run them beside each other, I very much preferred my 02 F-150 with a 5.4 for towing over my '16 with a 5.0. The 02 had a superchip tuner, the factory shift strategy was inspired by 1970's Cadillac.
'16 is a better platform but the 5.4 is a truck engine and ran like it...
The newer cab the 2019+ half ton uses can have dust intrusion issues. 2500+ still uses the older cab which we never had dust issues with.
Hemi has typical Hemi fun, lifter tick/cam issues, cracked exhaust manifold/hardware.
Regular oil changes seems to help lifter issues.
Hemi is no longer...
Dad had a '67 1100 pickup for awhile (my great grandfather bought it new) The steering was like steering a ship (picture the movie titanic when they see the iceberg) and the shifter had like 2' of throw. It was like driving a big truck but was just a light half ton.
Interior door handle...
Probably. If you think of the old Scout you don't really think of the heavy trucks (although they robbed a lot of parts out of them for their smaller vehicles) and you darn sure don't think of VW.
At one time Ford was threatening to spin Bronco off to almost be its own brand.
Ford never owned Polaris at one time though... and doesn't use Ford's name on it.
Polaris Ranger
Ford Ranger
Case-International Scout
International Scout
I've only seen one or two of the ATV's, I wouldn't be surprised if they are out of production.
International sold the ag division to the folks that owned Case to form Case IH, they have merged and been passed around and now its Case New Holland (CNH)
International kept doing the truck thing on their own, they were bought out by the company that owns VW's truck division in 2021. That is...
Payload is kind of a mixed message, midsize is on par with a great many fullsize trucks and even the older Ranger's going back to '83.
You can get heavier payload F-150's but they do make the frame heavier/stronger too.
Made that one awhile ago lol.
It's a lot of fun basically designing your truck, each trip gives me new experiences/testing to hone it into a even better truck.
Found raccoon footprints. He loves his $3 Harbor Freight magnifying glass.
They probably have reasons but trick or treating in the daylight seems kind of weird.

Then after dark we went around and looked at everything again.
Weekend two of Skamper camping is in the books... and with that we are done camping for the year. Most places will be shutting down the bathrooms this weekend or next weekend.
Rolled in Thursday and got it set up.
It was getting cool and dark so we ate our pork chops in the camper...
Ok, weekend before last we went to a local county park. Very quiet, neat little pond with a paved walking/biking path.
Got off to a late start Friday night.
Picked out a good looking spot by candlelight, backed in... yeah thats good enough lol.
My wife had to work late, she rolled in...
