A 2" will be fine except the 265/75 or 235/85 will require the 'Camel cut' which is just a bit behind the rear tire. I suggest the 245/75 if you want to prevent trimming, plus they are cheaper with a wide selection of choices. The other popular size is 7.50/16... The other option is as Tom...

Very good score, well done!! Good approach to familiarize yourself with the truck as well. Check your VIN as the fuel pumps changed mid year '97 I believe, and perhaps carry a spare, a serpent belt, filters, and a coil pack. She should serve you well for many many miles/years.

265s will rub with 2" lift on a D-I. Need to trim or change tire size, or body lift in addition to lift, or more lift- not recommended however.

I have NIB OME lift, a set of BFG 235s, or 245's if you want no rubbing or trimming (a Camel cut is very common), and an ARB bumper- and roof rack should you be so inclined, as well as sliders...
