I fit 37's(granted, A/T's) on my '11 w/ only a 2" leveling kit, but kept stock back spacing. And agree on the 17" wheels, which I did as well

That was my inference above- not that AB was expensive or anything. But, with a Ford plug/play connector, you have your choice of controller... Glad the rig did well for you!!

While not sure on the LR4, but the LR3 uses a Ford plug under the dash for the brake controller. This is a less expensive way to go, and also allows you choice of brake controller as AB's kit includes a controller. Enjoy the truck, and the trip!!

Just read the build thread, but it stops abruptly. Can you give a brief of how it ended, ie: looks like the top is orig vs. Alum as planned, water tank, kitchen setup, etc? Any additional pics of systems/interior? Thanks- looks nice, and build was impressive. How did she do in 'action'?
