No worries, i have found that with all v10 ford trucks from this era, they get the same Gas mileage, no matter what you are doing... I have a strong beleif that, the EFI map sends a steady stream of gas to the motor, and the throttle, just opens up the butterfly to let more air in when needed...
I leave mine on year round pretty much! i take it off every once and awhile...but its either on the excursion or the Tundra. I use the same 303 protection, and it works great!
I hate taking the time to mount it every time i want to use it.. and more often then not it gets used right in our...
Im supposed to be working on getting the trekker ready for a sale, but i work at a Pharma R/D facality for my normal day job, talking to one of the Scientists at the office last week he said he had an old original enduro if i wanted it i could have it.. i said sure wth.. why not!! i went to pick...
Yes, kit comes with a shortbody 8in king, that fits in stock location, i will be building strut tower brace (if-you-will) after so those dont fold on them selves. Kit is supposed to produce around 14in of travel. I will be running either mcneil, or hanneman front glass..not sure yet..still on...
Wow those converted wheels came out amazing! i was debating sending my crawler Copper Ray10's into convert them.
But i am going to unload the black Sr8's that my wife picked out for her tundra. I want to go back to the 6's.
Being local to VIN is a plus. I will work with him any day of the week...

I got the bolt on kit so i can keep 4wd. it comes with shocks, extended axles. I have worked...
well then hopefully it sells quick! :)
I think 7500 is a fair price. Honestly the most favorite vehicle i have ever bought. its just time to go a different route.
Thanks for the kind words though!
i also finished up alot of this job with the help of my friend Seth at Adventure Driven. installed ARB stuffs, rigid lights all over the place. Sytek battery charger / smartpass and dual, for the batteries in the rear. also installed a bussman up front and a switch pro in the rear.

Dont get me wrong, this truck does get used for its sole intended purpose.. going on excursions... but its never left me stranded with my family, and i sure as heck have never gotten it stuck. I know i will regret selling this truck. but the time has come.
